DMac's FF Value on the Raiders (2 Viewers)

he should have an opportunity, that's for sure. Problem is, we know so little about Russell. I believe his success, or there lack of, affects McFadden's value as much as anything.

i was about to ask the same thing. justin fargas had a 4.5 ypc last year. while oakland may not be in a position to run all the time, if fargas can get a 1000 yards, i can't imagine mcfadden can't collect some decent stats.

personally, i am not even that high on the guy, but this seems a little dramatic, especially without knowing where mendenhall or stewart will end up.

Mend is now the 1.01 for rookie drafts
The 3 raider RBs had 1800 yards last year, 8 TDs rushing and 8 100 yard games. I don't see this as a bad fit, I think the Raiders have a solid rushing O-line.
8 TDs divided by 3 players really isn't that good.
I realize that, it's bad. 8 100 yard rushing games is very good though. Wonderboy LT had 6 such games last year. Addai had 4 games like that. What's not to like with the Raiders run offense?

I guess your right... it could be worse

In Russell's first year, expect lots of running, screens, and dumps. This line does open holes.

Value is there, especially with too many people expecting heavy production from Fargas.

DMac will be undervalued.

overhyped players are rarely undervalued . . .

DMC probably went to the best O-Line/situation for the teams talking about taking him. NJ Jets added Faneca, but the rest of their line is still suspect. Like others have said the Raiders O-Line turned Fargas into a 1,000 rusher in about 8 games worth of play and Rhodes had a 100 yard game as well.

I agree......he will be undervalued. I will get this guy on 1 or 2 of my redraft teams. I'm hoping I draft at the end of some drafts to take him maybe early 2nd round or hope he slips to me in mid 2nd round if I'm in the middle.I am not sure how good he is, but he's in a good situation to produce right out of the gate, and I'll gamble more on the situation he's in than on him.

Al Davis took this guy 4th overall for a reason. By season's end, he'll be overworked and underpaid. There's no rookie back who's value is NEAR McFadden's right now, imo.

Justin Fargas & Michael Bush owners own worthless players right now.
At least Michael Bush has a good chance to be the next Michael Turner in a couple years. Fargas' value on the other hand is completely shot.
