DNC Leaks...official thread (1 Viewer)

I somewhat agree with you. One of my issues with globalism is that there are a lot of people in the movement that feel the rest of the world suffers due to US success, as they should feel that was because it's completely true. So their goal with globalism is to even the playing field worldwide... which would be bad for the US. Trump doesn't give a crap if other countries suffer due to our superior position in the global market. In fact, he'd push for an even more unfair solution if we were on the benefiting side.
What I want is to level the playing field by bringing them up to our level, not by sacrificing our manufacturing jobs.

i think Trump is a master at trolling Clinton and the press

In further news, the media dummies are freaking out that Trump told a female reporter to "be quiet" as she was repeatedly interrupting him.

In fact, he said:

"You said, 'I welcome them to find those 30,000 emails...'" she started.
"Well, they probably have them. I'd like to have them released," Trump interjected.

"Does that not give you pause?" Tur persisted.

"No, it gives me no pause. If they have them, they have them, we might as well [see them]," he responded.

The two then talked over each other for a period of time, as Tur repeated her line of questioning, until Trump eventually concluded with, "Be quiet. I know you want to save her."

JFC, all of my google news headlines are about Trump encouraging Russia to hack Hillary.  One even said he may have committed a felony.  Did they even listen to his speech?  Unbelievable, they are pushing this narrative.  Anything but cover the actual details of the leak.  I hope most people see through this crap like I do.  It's literally state controlled media.

This is the next big scandal to break for the Clintons:

http://www.breitbart.com/hillary-clinton/2016/05/01/one-year-silence-hillary-clinton-uranium-deal/

If the Clinton Foundation was breached (and wikileaks has hinted it was), this could get pretty ugly to explain away.
If it were shown that approval for this deal had to come from a wide variety of governments and none of them objected to the deal would it change your mind?  What if at the time it wasn't considered even a little bit controversial by any of the relevant governments?

What if that occurred and the other parties didn't realize wtf was going on?  Because you know, that is so rare.

lets do a little logic exercise.

hillary sets up unsecured server, sends top secret info to it, FBI declares it as grossly negligent and then says "not a crime"

Trump figures the Russians hacked that server and says "release the emails, Russia" and now its a felony.

i used to think the media was just overtly partisan.   Now I believe they are exceptionally stupid as well.

Gotta love the echo chamber...the spin on this is so impressive...so the media has proven Russia guilty on this already...looks like it is 100% fact right now...no ifs, ands or buts about...Trump is involved with this as well...meanwhile Hillary did nothing wrong having a server in her closet...only thing missing is a grassy knoll...

Top headlines on Yahoo:

"Trump to NBC reporter: 'Be quiet'"

"Trump calls on Russia to find Clinton emails"

"'Sad': How TV stars lost their millions"

"Belichick leaves no doubt about Pats QBs"

"1995 T-shirt controversy haunts"

2 anti-Trump articles, a reality TV article, a sports article and 1 pro-Hillary article.  This is so ridiculous.

No one can answer because she has absurdly insulated herself ever since she began running for office dating back to the Senatorial run in NY... Trump raises a great point with her lack of news conferences

The DNC leaks showed that the media colluded with the DNC

First, the State Department did approve of Russia’s gradual takeover of a company with significant U.S. uranium assets, but it didn’t act unilaterally. State was one of nine government agencies, not to mention independent federal and state nuclear regulators, that had to sign off on the deal.

- So, its possible for multiple pay-offs....

Second, while nine people related to the company did donate to the Clinton Foundation, it’s unclear whether they were still involved in the company by the time of the Russian deal and stood to benefit from it.

- So, nothing to refute here - nothing to suggest they did not profit....

Third, most of their Clinton Foundation donations occurred before and during Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential bid, before she could have known she would become secretary of state.

Hmm, lets see, presumptive president, might not be a bad place to invest for future influence...

So where was all of this concern about oppressive foreign regimes influencing our politics when China funded Clinton Gore 96?

Was the agreement as ratified beyond the pale?  Was Hillary involved in the direct brokering of the deal?  How did Clinton influence the other eight agency heads into signing off on this agreement if it is outside the norm?

"Russia’s purchase of the company "had as much of an impact on national security as it would have if they set the money on fire," said Lewis. "That’s probably why (CFIUS and the NRC ) approved it."

If the Russians can cause this much trouble when she's running, imagine the influence they could have if she actually got elected...

she needs to step aside...

They flipped it to her being a victim of Trump & Putin!

this is a sterling example of either media stupidity or willfully twisting a story around to make it as bad as possible.

remember, trump (and most normal people) assume the Russians and Chinese have already hacked Hillary's homebrew server.   Her "server" has since been confiscated by the FBI and is in a secure room not connected to anything.   Its offline, as it should have been in the first place.

this is CNN right now

Donald Trump encourages Russia to hack Hillary Clinton

It's magnificent...spin Hall-of-Fame...like evidence from a trial that should be thrown out before the jury can see it...
Its going to be fun to watch when future WikiLeaks released closer to the election contain emails from the private server (you can assune at this point the thing was not locked down as it should have been) that were classified and/or national security related that were "not able to be located during the FBI investigation."

Not for the Clintons.   Pay to play is business as usual.
Pay to Play would be a scandal.

Not sure this is a scandal.

Were all of the agencies that had to sign off on this part of the scandal too?

You know Russia cannot move the uranium out of the US right?

Man, how come no one else is following up this juicy scandal?

Yeah, Secretary of State and likely POTUS candidate couldn't influence that deal one way or the other.

Nothing to see here I'm sure.  No way anyone with such limited power and influence could make that deal go through or stop it if she wanted to.

Pull your head out or stop being so stubborn.  It's a conflict of interest the likes of which should NEVER occur at any level of government and is forbidden in every legitimate profession.  If you don't think it matters that our elected officials are receiving payment from entities they are expected to be impartial toward, I don't know what to tell you.

Of course it matters.

But where's the scandal? There were, what, 8 other agencies that had to sign off, and that uranium isn't going anywhere, so ah, where's the outrage?  What went wrong here? Who's the victim?

Do I think they gave donations for influence? YES.

Do I care? Sure, a little.

Good luck getting outraged about this. Don't follow politics if you don't like donations with strings attached.

Well to be fair it was only $145 Million to the Clintons.  I doubt there were any strings attached to that money at all.  At $27 a pop, it would only take 5.37 million Bernie donors of $27 to match this effort.  Add in the DNC's Victory Fund $100M and there is clearly nothing to see here at all.  She had more votes people.  Can't you see that?

"Good luck getting outraged about this. Don't follow politics if you don't like donations with strings attached".

Not really outraged but if you look at the speaking fees collected by the Clintons, if that isn't pay to play nothing is.   You can also look at the timing of the deals & the speeches.  We are talking $500,000 to $150 MILLION for a speech?

Barnum &  whoever would be proud.

Outraged?  no.   Just reinforces the hypocrisy of caring for the little people in the vein of personal wealth.IMO

Yeah she's a freaking coward for not holding a news conference.

The article mentioned this company owns mines and land equal to 20% of U.S. uranium capacity, but they are only accounting for 11% of the actual U.S. production.  Seems suspiciously low.  Is it possible that they are producing at a normal rate but not reporting everything?

A couple deposits are not active - either need to be developed or are on care and maintenance.  Web Page

As to Russians not being able to export uranium out of the US, Uranium 1 is a Canadian Corporation owned by a Russian entity. I wonder if there is a loophole there?

Wow!  Audio files.  Haven't clicked the link, but gotta hand it to whoever is long playing this release.  I may set a calendar alert for Hillary's birthday.

If I give or accept more than $25 I lose my licensee.  Interesting that the POTUS/SOS can take millions more than that.

Sounds good to me. I used up all my knowledge of domestic uranium mining on that last post.

Audio files are voice messages, many from donors looking to collect on their fund raising . $200k gets you a private dinner with Hillary. Don't have link but link on Drudge.

I'll be outraged when dumbasses elect her President in spite of her obvious corruption and unethical behavior.  This is President of the United States of America.  You guys are acting like this is some kind of figurehead with no influence.  If your local traffic attorney or small town CPA can't take $100 from a potential conflict of interest how in the holy hell can our President be taking millions?  Its complete crap that people like you give her a pass.

She should have never been Secretary of State, should should have never gotten the Democratic nomination and she should never be President.

What I'm truly pissed at is our society's lack of outrage.  You, me and every one who gives a crap should be outraged.

Walking Boot said:
Where was the concern about Ted Kennedy asking Soviet Russia to help him win in '88 by helping the Democratic Party beat Reagan in '84, in exchange for US secrets on nuclear policy that would undermine our limitation treaty negotiations.
That can't be true.

Assange told CNN in an interview that DNC officials were taking advantage of the possibility of Russia's involvement in the hack to distract voters from the contents of the emails, which have revealed shocking internal discord and collusion.
It's not just the DNC that's been busted here.  It's a portion of the "mainstream media"  that has always pretended to be independent and non biased.  I am not surprised that they are running stories that detract from that and put the blame on Trump because

1.  They're busted.  The fears and concerns of many observant people have been validated and are no longer conspiracy theories.

2.  They hate Trump and are completely in the bag for Hillary.

2.  They have a natural instinct to protect themselves.

Teddy the swimmer.  He was a real gem.
