Do the Jets have anything to play for week 17? (1 Viewer)

I need a RB for week 17 in my total points big money league. I was looking at Shonn Greene (dropped last week by owner in favor of Rashad Jennings), but am worried that he & LT will both be rested....or get few carries....if the Jets playoff slot can not change win or lose.

Anybody?

Nope. They have no control over their position. The only upside is "continuity" (they're 1-3 in their last 4 I believe).

Truthfully they don't.

They can only be the #5 or #6 seed and I doubt that would change any strategy in terms of how they approach the game. The only way they can be #5 is if the Steelers are #6, btw. That only happens with a Baltimore win, Steelers loss, and Jets win. All 3 of those games are at 1pm.

I think the LT2 will be more the one getting rest compared to Greene. That said, pretty sure Rex has indicated a willingness to rest starters. To what extent, I do not know.

Theoretically, but again it would only happen if they win, the Ravens beat the Bengals and the Browns beat the Steelers, then they and the Steelers each win 2 road playoff games. -QG
