Let it die people. I am good with people questioning the projectons. That's how we deliver the best product.I rely a lot on my game predictor tool to point me in the right direction. It predicted 278 passing yards against SF. Because those stats were based on Warner and not McCown, I downgraded those numbers slightly. But the more I examined this matchup, the more I thought McCown could be a huge play. I started him in all of my FFTOC leagues and in one other league over Jake Plummer. As for the Indianapolis game, I knew that Tennessee was soft, but expected after a few scores that Indy would just run the ball a lot in the 4th quarter. Blowouts are always tough to predict that way. I easily could have seen Peyton throw two less passing Tds and Edgerrin James pounds the ball in. In fact that is what we predicted on the site. But after the rankings were questioned, I decided to do more research on the Indy game. In the end Manning got more projected yards as I could see them working to establish that part of their offense (since it had struggled a bit in their three previous games). This stuff is far from an exact science. We just try our best to outline how we think a game will flow and then push that outcome to the players. The rankings just end up where they end up. I don't start with a plan that will make Manning this week, etc.Hope that makes sense. I did not mind someone questioning a ranking. In fact, I encourage everyone to do just that. Sometimes trying to put everything together I might overlook some pressing detail.
