Dog dentists? (1 Viewer)

So, I need to get my dogs'teeth cleaned again. Does anyone here have any insurance recommendations or anything? I've taken them for one off visits to the vet before, but I'm checking options since it's pretty expensive. I've looked into Banfield, ASPCA and so on. If someone local to Phoenix has a suggestion, that's a bonus.

Any insurance that you buy yourself is going to be ridiculously expensive because they know if you buy it, you're planning to use it.

Just like with dental insurance... it's one of the parts of the body that you CAN see and maybe get a bit of a pulse on how you are doing.. or you can get a dental exam/x-rays cheaply and figure out your problems...

Those people have to put in anything they can do to keep you from using it.. waiting periods, low maximums, etc. Because their goal is to make money and if you pay $500 for $1000 worth of coverage and use it, they lose.. and very few people sell things with the intent to lose money.
