My guess on the teams that will not be as good as 2008 would be:Tampa Bay, Colts, Titans, Jets. The combined record of all the teams for 2008 is 125-83.Only the Bills (7-9) and Jaguars (5-11) had a losing record.Kind of funny, the Dolphins will only play 4 NFC teams in 2009.I wonder which of those teams that you think will be great making a "brutal" matchup will end up sucking for one reason or another and visa-versa.
Other than the SB, every team always plays 4 interconference games.Very touch schedule for Miami though, two tough divisions matched with the AFC East plus a 1st place finish so they draw the Steelers and Chargers.
I completely disagree with you. Just because the teams they will play had a good 2008 record, does not mean they had a good defense. A great example is Atlanta, 11-5 and a crummy defense that no one is scared of. The biggest reason that Bill Parcells will not be involved with the Dolphins in 2009.gcoast3 said:The Dolphins 2009 Schedule:

Atlanta was 11-5 and moving in a positive direction.Feel free to circle any "certain" wins for the Dolphins next season.Leroy said:I completely disagree with you. Titans - 5th
Their own division has average to below average defenses (16, 17 and 27). They have two tough matchups in Tennessee and Pittsburgh, two moderately difficult ones in Tampa and Indy and the rest of their schedule looks pretty easy to me, with a slew of matchups against crappy defenses - 27th, 27th, 29th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 22nd. That is not a tough schedule, sorry.
Are you forgetting that Peyton Manning still plays for them??gcoast3 said:My guess on the teams that will not be as good as 2008 would be:Tampa Bay, Colts, Titans, Jets.Avery said:I wonder which of those teams that you think will be great making a "brutal" matchup will end up sucking for one reason or another and visa-versa.

I am talking about degree of schedule difficulty for fantasy purposes, since this is a fantasy football message board. I could personally care less about how many games they win. The Chiefs went 2-14 but had an easy fantasy schedule and Bowe and Gonzalez were excellent in 2008.Atlanta was 11-5 and moving in a positive direction.Feel free to circle any "certain" wins for the Dolphins next season.Leroy said:I completely disagree with you. The Dolphins (and all other teams) play 4 teams from the other conference each year. I see scheduling threads pop up every year, but the schedule is etched in stone every year. No one "decides" which teams play each other . . . it's been predetermined. Each team will play:- Each team in their division twice- All teams in one of the divisions in their conference- All teams in one division from the other conference- The two other teams that finished in the same spot in the rankings from the two other divisions in their conference. Each year the divisions that are inter and intra conference rotate.gcoast3 said:Kind of funny, the Dolphins will only play 4 NFC teams in 2009.
All pretty much set in stone. The new schedules are fun to look at, but that's about it.Team quality can change pretty fast. And why shouldn't a an 11-5 division-winning team have a tough schedule? The Dolphins (and all other teams) play 4 teams from the other conference each year. I believe both teams play the South, so both play Ten and Indi, right? The difference is probably SD for Miami and Den for NE. The same point still holds true though.Pats have the same schedule as MIA, but substitute PIT and TEN with BAL and IND. Not sure there is any real difference with what the Dolphins have.
Yeah, you are probably right. Pats would get DEN instead and Fins would get Chargers.I believe both teams play the South, so both play Ten and Indi, right? Start your own "Patriots have a tough schedule" topic. Patriot fans always make it about them.Anyway, the AFC East 2nd place Patriots play the Ravens and Broncos and the AFC East Champion Dolphins play the Steelers and Chargers. That is the difference. You may want to look at the Patriots home schedule it is favorable. Ravens, Titans, Panthers, Falcons all home.David Yudkin said:Yeah, you are probably right.
