**Dolphins at Bills - Orchard Park Showdown**(-6, 49.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

looking toward the 2025 draft and scouting QBs in college games
Why? Do Dolphins fans enjoy being disappointed?
No…..but this is our team…..and we already know they are toast.
I mean.... there's 83 mil in dead cap for Tua, and he's playing.

Fins fans really believe a QB is the plan next spring?

It's one thing if that's what someone wishes happened. But geez, deal in reality

Reality is they have an opt out in 2 seasons and you can draft one and they fall into the rookie deal for 4 years with a 5th option.

Don’t worry bout us…..we deal in reality.

We can cut Tua in 2027. Drafting a QB in 2025 makes sense in 2 ways: we need a cheap backup for 2025 & 2026; and we need a QB of the future beyond Tua. We're in the running for Sanders and Cam Ward if we keep losing. We remember the 1983 draft, Kelly with the 14th pick and Marino with the 27th pick.

Ty Hill is a disaster at this point if you're forced to start him every week
He was single digits while Tua was OUT and he's not much better now, no effort to get him the ball
Waddle either for that matter, why did Miami extend him?

Weak holding call on the Allen TD
Criminal. Quite outrageous actually.
This is an NFL problem though. There are 900 ultra high def cameras from ever angle now. But somehow a many many billions dollar organization can only manage to have a “sky judge” available on like 1 game a week and their ability to review/weigh in on plays is a total mystery. Add like 3 more refs that are watching different live HD feeds who can either immediately make or change calls to every single game. There’s zero reason that calls that are immediately obviously wrong should still be happening on today’s world.

The Miami Dolphins can release quarterback Tua Tagovailoa without a negative impact on the salary cap in 2026. The Dolphins can also trade Tagovailoa at any time after the 2024 season to gain cap

Reality.

And who develops this new QB? You guys with your itchy trigger fingers want to cut and fire everybody right now....so who will be the QB whisperer once you get your wish and Tua and Mike are gone?

It would take a complete collapse, like 4-13 and poor performances to close the season to get rid of Grier. A new GM would want their coach.

Grier has had bad luck with injuries the last 2 years, plus he couldn't afford to keep good players he drafted, like Wilkins, Hunt, and AVG. Cap management. But signing Tua to an extension was a mistake - not in hindsight - many fans and at least one beat writer (Barry Jackson) argued to see if Tua could 1) beat good teams and 2) stay healthy. We have had 4 winning seasons in a row.

Bills clearly need A Cooper for this offensive passing game to function
I don’t know. Coleman dropped a sure TD that turned into an INT. Cook dropped a pass that likely would have been a TD. Those are just 2 bad plays that Cooper would have no bearing on but Bills would have 17 points if those guys just make the easy catches. Those aren’ a function of the offense IMO, just 2 talented players not doing their jobs and letting the rest of the team down

Thx for the perspective of someone watching. I’ve got the DAL-ATL game going here…..only seeing stats for BUF…..

Tell me….they don’t pay me so that’s up to them. Anyone but this shlock we have right now. I have had an itchy trigger finger the moment they announced Tua.

I despised the pick then and even more each and every freaking season that passes by.

This has been a train wreck franchise running on 25 years now.

I actually don’t even give a ****…..if they never win again….who gives a flying ****.

The only way Dolphins fans can entertain ourselves save for a brief 3 months in 2023 is to ***** and moan and make fun of our hapless owner and once proud franchise.

This is what a culture of mediocrity looks like.

Even if they win today…..yippie. It just keeps us out of a better draft position in 2025. We are going nowhere.

Hey…..speaking of idiocy……how much we give Waddle?

This guy is no where…..no where to be found.

4th and 3 on Buff 25, down 20-13 4th Q, 13:50 to go and McDaniel...calls some play and Tua takes off like he did in Week 2 vs Buffalo
He might have gotten the FD, hard to tell

I'm a Dallas fan. I feel ya. We are the same team, actually. Except you have a real GM.

Would you trade Tua for Dak? I'd take Tua over Dak in a heartbeat.

I'd also take your HC over McCarthy without hesitation.

Tough business, this NFL.

Let’s make this happen. Why not.

Dak….60MM wow.

Scott Hanson is wrong he said Buffalo missed XP and would have 21 nope they would not have gone for 2 which they made had they made that XP and would still have 20

Tyreek has to be way up the list on most disappointing players this year considering his ADP was like pick 3/4 range

Watching Miami can be tough at times but at least our QB isn't yelling "Here we go...." before each snap.

Yeah, talk about money management malpractice.....

Dak out for the game. Injured his hamstring trying his shoe. Probably.

We are a Cooper Rush team now.
