**Dolphins at Colts**(+1, 46.5) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

I believe that no team has a more important week 1 game then the Dolphins. They are gonna be a playoff team or playing for a top 3 pick. They either implode this year or ignite excitement.

Colts 24
Dolphins 10

I think this a sneaky game to be the highest scoring of the week depending on what version of the Dolphins offense shows up.

The Colts CBs are old and slow, this should be good news for both Hill and Waddle.

Miami's secondary might not be as good as some college teams. Josh Downs vs 5th round rookie Jason Marshall feels like a particular weakness, but Pierce and Pittman against Jack Jones and Storm Duck isn't bad either.

Colts win

The polymarket leader in 1st coach to be fired is McDaniel. The 2 QBs are the key players. Can Tua stay healthy and will Jones finally emerge as a bonafide NFL starter.

Some other keys:
1. Will LG Jonah Savaiinaea do better than he did in preseason when facing the 1s? TBD, but I predict a liability in pass pro. Therefore, lots of short quick passes.
2. Can Tanner Conner, a converted WR, entering year 4 of an injury-riddled career, surprise and fill the Jonnu void - 111 targets. He's flashed in preseason, a better athlete than Jonnu.
3. How much pressure will the Dolphin front put on Jones? They have the potential to be among the league's best.
4. Can a makeshift secondary composed of a mix of young players, UDFA Storm Duck & 5th rounder Jason Marshall, and vets, only one of whom is a prime player (Minkah), keep up with a good group of WRs.

Miami is sure to target Xavien Howard, who was not good 2 years ago in a Dolphin uniform.

Miami 27 Colts 24.

:x

-Miami has some serious issues, this is completely unacceptable
No other game on the schedule is this lopsided
Hill was shouting on the sidelines

This is about the saddest performance I've ever seen from them
Not much else to say

I wish i took that second for achane...been trying to deal him for 12 months and no takers...
That seems low. Surprised no one nibbled with a 1st.

You will see in the Achane thread that's what i was trying to get it but it's an expert league and nobody was buying. I thought a 2nd was low but i wish i took it. This team is a disaster and he just isn't a great back for a team that's going to struggle

Any more questions guys?

I said a total disaster in a few threads in regards to fantasy prospects.

This is a 5-6 win Dolphins team at best.

Utter dysfunction and a turd at QB.
Thought this was going to be one of the 6 or so they had a decent shot at. Healthy as they're going to get coming in....if they were going to make us all look wrong this would have been the spot.

I rarely get to watch either of these teams. Is MIA this bad? Is IND better than I thought? Didn’t Miami score like 500 points two years ago?

What's going on today with a Carly Irsay, on the sidelines with a call sheet and headset...?

This was a serious inquiry, btw, and based on how it was related to me, I'm very surprised no one is talking about it here in the Thread.

My HS partner was telling me that while I was in church this AM, and he was monitoring social media accts, etc. for news, the Colts were being absolutely ridiculed because this Carly Irsay (Ownership person) was on the sidelines with a copy of Steichen's play call sheet and a headset, and that she had made it clear to management, coaches, players and media that she needed to evaluate the organization from top to bottom, and that included gameday, in-game, management of the Team, as part of her process.

Can anyone who knows anything about this, please comment? TIA.

Looks like it’s working lol.

I rarely get to watch either o

They beat up on crappy teams. Offense was never as good as the stats indicated. Teams have now figured out how to play them.
And their OL may be the worst in the league.

Its certainly not good but they made some upgrades one of which is already out of the game.
