**Friday Night -Chiefs vs Chargers at Sao Paulo, Brazil**(+3, 46.5) 8:00 on YouTube (2 Viewers)

Chiefs are sort of exposed. Sell out on stop the run and vulnerable vs the pass. Same thing as SB. Shut down Saquon and Hurts lit them up. Very problematic for them
They have outstanding LB & an improving group of DL, but their secondary is a mess, and they struggled to get pressure on Herbert all night.

Herbert ate them alive through the air.

Chargers are gonna be a problem if Herbert plays like this all season.

Herbert's healthy with an above-average receiving corps. This is one of the least surprising developments in the NFL.
QJ is the kicker. McConkey is unstoppable between the 20’s. As long as Allen stays healthy you know he’ll vibe with Herbert. But QJ is what puts them over the top. I saw him live last year and was SO unimpressed. For a first round draft pick dude couldn’t separate an inch. Now he looks completely different. Glad the team didn’t quit on him.

Had one dynasty share of Q last year was happy to ship him off.

But I agree - who is this guy this year?

Yeah, everybody wants to microwave these guys and they aren’t even going willing to give a guy a year or two. I personally am not a total believer but if he develops into a weapon, look out! Seemed like every time I looked up at my television that Herbert was targeting him.

Maybe it’s the liquor maybe it’s bc it’s Friday but agree again here. Everything seems baked into all/nothing these days but he looked good tonight and while he might not live up to the 1st round status, seems like all the WRs have a role , he knows his and Herbert knows where to go. Probably a better NFL WR/possible high level role player than dominant FF WR. The thing w him has been consistency. Harbaugh is such a good coach too.

Yeah, I'm not the only one thinking that Kansas City's roster is dogpoop. Jahnke's really gave me the stinkface when I thought about it. I watched the Patriots. Brutal.

Nobody's really talked about it because Mahomes has found a way to drag these teams to the deepest levels of contention but they keep getting worse and worse and worse and there will be a point where even he can't make them a contender if this continues. The way Brett Veach has allowed this roster to decay around Mahomes is astounding

Mahomes can make it work but I truly can’t believe what this WR corps looks like right now

As a reminder of where the Chiefs are at with wide receivers right now, 2/3 of their wide receivers are guys the Patriots decided early last season that they didn't want anymore.

We’re talking about depth guys. Yeah they’re not much, but again I ask what passing game would look good with their #1 and #2 WRs out?

Herbert looked great, and this Chargers team could be dangerous (duh, right?).

As for the Chiefs, for most of the game their offense looked like the last two years...like something is still just off. Until they show otherwise, it's just what their offense is now.

I don't buy it. The WR1 and WR2 can't run patterns or get open downfield. I was looking at Reception Perception charting and open rates for Worthy and Rice and they're atrocious against anything but zone or when they're running patterns horizontally around the line of scrimmage. I would bet you that if I looked at every teams' WR1 and WR2 aDOT that Kansas City's would be the lowest by far and it wouldn't be close. They don't run beyond the line of scrimmage.

Those are limitations that make a once-proud offense look timid, scared, and completely horizontal. It's the extreme and incompetent version of the West Coast offense. I actually kind of loathe watching it. KC seems to have a lot of these high-level concepts to nowhere.

Imagine five Keke Coutees in your face forever. Gross.

You could be right. There is a frustratingly low aDot. For some reason, I thought with a healthy group it would expand.
