***Dolphins vs Raiders*** (-3.5)(45) Game Thread (1 Viewer)

It would be nice to think Miami could actually get a final drive mounted and score before the end of the Half...it looked good up 14-0 but no dice

Gotta wonder what the hell the Jets are doing there.

Oh my.

eta* Wrong thread, but I'm letting it stand because the Jets are really stupid.

Some good points.

>>We don’t have a QB Barry. It’s pretty simple to me. We averaged 27 pts per game with Fitz early last year and the coaches and fans couldn’t wait to run him out of town. Not going to change until you change the QB.

Dolphins have, on paper, their best collection of WRs and TEs in a while. Yet scoring, or keeping possession for long drives, seems an exhausting, at times insurmountable exercise, as if field is covered with flaming rocks when the Dolphins have the ball.<<

Season coming to a slow realization today fro Miami Dolphin fans, cold reality of where we are at.

Bottom 5-10 NFL team in 2021
We've lost to the Bills and LV.  But the defense has only 1 good pass rusher. And the offense from the the coaching to the QB to the oline  is bottom 5. The defense is top 10.

Total wins after what you see this week?

No more than 8-9 this season and it could get worse. They needed this game today and while it isn't over, it hasn't felt like they were in it since the Safety and were still up 14-2.

Even if Miami could get within 25 yards of the end zone...

Even if Miami can deep into the redzone...

Even if Miami scores, they'll never make the 2-pt conversion...

Raiders really allowed Miami into this.

One pick, one going for it on their own side of the field, one drive where their defense collapsed.

Interesting.

Why the heck are the Dolphins throwing the ball 50 times with a backup QB?

Have the same question about Mac Jones throwing the ball 50 times. What are these coaches thinking?
