Domanick Davis NOT playing*** (1 Viewer)

hijack

My buddy is up against the team that was the #1 seed in our big money league. The winner goes to the Bowl for a guaranteed $350, shot at 1G. The #1 team lost one game this year (to me) and they were 2nd or 3rd in overall points.

We close the WW when the playoffs start - check out what the #1 seed is sporting for RBs heading into this game:

Domanick Davis (thus my post here)

Stephen Davis (IR)

Chris Perry (out)

Kevin Jones (90% chance he's out)

Marshal Faulk

:lmao:

so you don't have anyting at stake here, just living through your buddy?
I was eliminated from the playoffs last week - but I have taken 2350 out of this league the last three years, so, yeah, just living through my buddy.
well thanks for your efforts this year here at FBGs

Domanick Davis is inactive for today's game.Jonathan Wells will get the start. Davis owners have to be concerned the Texans won't rush him back next week either, if they make it that far. Other inactive Texans: QB Dave Ragone, RB Tony Hollings, LB Kenneth Pettway, C Tyson Walter, TE Matt Murphy, WR Derick Armstrong, and DT Junior Ioane. As a Texans fan, I really felt like this is a game they could win, pretty strange to me all of the sudden Davis is resting, I';; start Thomas Jones and hope for the best, but as a Texans fan....this reeks

not good, needed a big day from Davis oh well...it's GADO time..lol
traded ownes for DD in a dynasty so i would have a shot to beat the team i am plying today in the playoffs...Oh well, Cedric Houston to the rescue!!!

:wall:

Is Wells a good pickup for next week too? What are the chances that Davis is out for the season, considering that Houston has nothing to play for...

Dang! My only other options are Koren Robinson who has shown some excitement or Kevin Curtis. What's a man to do?

I picked up Wells and I'm starting him in my flex position, over Koren.

Wells seems to be the hot pickup. Any chance Morency gets to see some time and has a chance to shine? Or is it all Wells all the time?

Yes - go get him NOW.
Why do you say this? How about some analysis.
DD was a GTD so he's hardly out for the year. I disagree with the certainty of the original post. It's possible DD plays next week and Wells is "nothing".

When DD was out, Morency got a handful of touches...Week 9 @ JAC 8/24 rush, 1/-1 rec 0TDs

Weed 10 @ IND 6/18 rush, 3/19 rec 0TDs

hopefully this means carr will have to open it up more and thwp downfield to keep up with the cards' air attack. i know, that's funny to think of carr passing, but...

I don't have a link, but I know I saw at least one other site recommending having Wells.DD has been having knee issues for the past month if not longer. Wells is a competent backup with a good schedule. Texans have nothing to play for. Week 16 would be a 50-50 proposition for Wells to get at least split carries with Davis.

I see little / no downside to getting Wells now if you can, especially if you have DD.

:bye: Actually the Thomas start is a better start IMO. Falcons run defense is putrid.

One more texans/fantasy related note before I bolt....In the super sleeper department we also get to see the ‘Michael Jordan of arena football" catch his first NFL ball. We deactivated Armstrong in a game where we have to score some points to keep up with the pass happy Cardinals.Who says this game will be a stinker when we all get the first glimpse of the Donovan Morgan era? /partial sarcasm
