If you are trying to get him or get rid of him what are you getting in return? I've got a good group of RB's and am looking for WR help.

I've got him but wouldn't dare trade him...not right now at least. His value is probably (hopefully) the lowest it will be all year because of Houston's tough schedule the first few games. Wait until their schedule improves and DD actually starts performing so you can get more bang for your buck.P.S. Go Irish!!

I offered a guy Domanick Davis and Stephen Davis for Steven Jackson and Chris Chambers - Rejected. I thought he was getting the better value. I'm just trying to deal with bye week issues. I also have K. Jones, W. Dunn, M. Moore and B. Jacobs. He has T. Bell, M. Williams, and M. Bennett. We're both ok at WR. I thought he would jump on the offer. It seems like everyone is prettty down on D. Davis right now - probably not the best time to shop him around

I plan on targeting him after this weekend. I have Curtis Martin to dangle out there and some mid-level WR's. With the bye week coming and hopefully a bad performance against the Steelers it might put his owner in the mood to deal.

I agree. I plan to go after him in a couple leagues after this week. Hopefully he stumbles a bit against Pittsburg and his owner looks to trade him on the bye week. Buffalo and Pitt is a tough way for a RB to start the year. But Cinci, Tennesee, Seattle, Indy, and Cleveland are the next five games. They also get St. Louis, Arizona, and Tennesee again later in the year. I think DD is a prime candidate to trade for on Monday.

I'm a DD owner. No one in my league has much interest in him, not that I would trade him anyway. On FA night during the offseason, no one bid on him. I had the Franchise Tag on him so they would've had to have given me 2 first rounders as compensation if I didn't match the offer. 2 first rounders for the guy that had the 5th most RB points in 2004 and fresh off two straight 1K yard seasons. That being said, I'm not starting him this week. Pitt is too strong on D. I'm going with Thomas Jones but am very tempted to start DD without Big Ben in there and with the heat of Houston playing into the favor of the home team. That may be one of those last minute changes as I have already submitted my lineup with TJones in it.....

It seemed that last year Dom had a lot of garbage points in games. I am expecting the same this Sunday. A meaningless token touchdown late in the game. Also, playing a home opener is much better than playing on the road like last week. I don't expect stellar numbers but definitely better than last week. I have DD, TJones, SDavis, CBrown, KBarlow and Steve Smith and plan on starting DD, SDavis and TJones as my flex.

Even though Ben is listed as questionable I still think he's going to play. And if he doesn't the game plan is going to be the same anyway: keep the ball on the ground and throw as little as possible. As for the weather, it has been unseasonably hot (86-87) in Pittsburgh this week so I don't think that is going to be much of an advantage for the Texans.

I have LT2, Priest, and D. Davis at RB. My WRs are weak with d. Branch, Boldin, I. Bruce, and Houshmandzadh (I took Rbs not WRs.....) I was offered W. Parker and Reggie Wayne for D. Davis and one of my WRs. I passed because I feel that D. Davis value is as low as possible and that Parker will end up sharing carries in the end with Bus and Duce. Also, even though Wayne is a very good WR, they spread the ball around so much in Indy that the differential between the WRs didn't seem that great to me. If (or once) D. Davis' schedule gets easier after the bye week, I think he'll get back to top 8-10 RB numbers which should equate into a trade for possibly a top 5 WR....Of course, I may have just made a big mistake....

I got S. Smith and M. Anderson for Ward and DD in a PPR league, with a big distance bonus.Im going to roll with LJ in my flex if Anderson flames out.

I didnt want him but in the Second I felt I had too. Im really happy to be rid of him. Im not sure why, but I am.

Edited to fix the fact that Im a lover not a typer.

im offering Dunn but havent heard back yet. He has another tough game this week and his value couldnt be any lower. This could really help me if this trade goes down.

I traded him this week to an owner who needed a RB, here is what was included:DD/Dallas Clark/ and Justin Smith(we play IDP)forMarvin Harrison/Alge Crumpler/ and Ladell BettsI think I did okay! ;-)

I am hoping the Steelers shut him down completely. I think if he puts up 2 consecutive goose eggs and is heading into a bye, his owner might be itching to get rid of him...especially if that same owner is 0-2.

Being a DD owner I dangled him out there in my league along with McCardell to see if there were any takers and zip, zero, notta one. I did this purposely to plant a seed like I was unhappy with him but in reality I expected him to have a bad couple of weeks going against NE and PIT(I just like to do things like that in my league to get owners thinking). The savy owners would know that this would be a good time to acquire him while his stock is low and you never know what somebody will throw out there at you especially another owner who's #1RB may have struggled that week as well. DD is known as a slow starter and I think with his schedule easing up after the bye he will return back to his usual ways, I hope! :D

You wont get anything more than a bag o' beans for DD now. People are idots after week 1.I'm just gonna hope for some #s this week & wait for him to heat up in Week 4.

I turned down an offer of Harrison for DD in a dynasty league. I could use the WR help, but then that'd leave a hole @ RB since C. Martin is getting up there & Bell hasn't established himself yet.I'm thinking about starting bell over DD this week though

Anyone who drafted DD should have seen this coming for the first 3 weeks of the season. His first two games are BRUTAL, then he byes. In WCOFF, we deliberately passed on him with the 6th pick because we could not afford our 1st round pick to throw up bad stats for 3 weeks. The season is too short. I was very happy we passed on him after that clunker he posted last weekend. The sharks will try to trade for him after week 3, because his schedule lightens ALOT. He still is a stud. Buy low.

I need to start 3 out of J. Lewis, D. Davis, LJ, and FWP. I'm leaning towards LJ, FWP and D. Davis.
This would be a huge mistake. Lewis against Tennessee's pathetic defense should be your FIRST play.

I have Portis, Edge and DD. A guy in my league wants Portis or DDavis. I am getting Chad Johnson, K. McCardell and Mike Andresen in return. I think that Portis does better this year than last. You guys think I should give up Portis or DDavis?

Not even close, give up DD.Portis >>> DD

Easy decision, make the trade before he changes his mind.
