Why in the HADES did Dom change his name from Davis to Williams?

I don't have a link, but he had some story about wanting a fresh start, and how he was never really a Davis, he was just given the name. And since he had his own kids he wanted it to be what it was supposed to be (Williams)

His dad's last name is Davis. His dad was never in his life and his mom's last name is Williams. He said he wanted to do what was right and changed his last name to that of his mom's. He's always been nothing but class.

I have not seen any new reports on his condition since being cut by Houston. At that time, it was thought to be a longshot at best for him to ever have a significant role in the NFL.

I don't care what his name is. This guy cost me a title in one of my "early slow draft" leagues. I took him in the 2nd round of a 16 team draft (July)....and he killed me! I ended up coming in 3rd place. Any warm body would have put me in the finals. Ugh. I'm not sure I'll ever recover, and I don't think he will either.

I still have him rostered, but if there isn't good news by next April I'll let him go.30 man roster dynasty league.It's a risk I'm able to take since I have Westbrook, FWP, Rudi, Lynch, and Morency/Jackson at RB.

I read an article where he says he WANTS to play and plans on being ready to go when preseason starts.......just a question of finding a team.

Hard to imagine that he wouldn't get at least a camp invite from somebody.

I have talked to a couple of team insiders this weekend about DD err - DW. They think that he's a strange dude, and believe that more than likely he is done.

I know Shanny had some positive thoughts about this kid, but apparently no longer.
