Looks like he's ready to go this week. After practicing Thursday and Friday. Dre Bly has locked him down the last 3 meetings. How will he do this week.

I think

7 for 95 1 td (fingers crossed!)
5 for 50 is about what I expect...hoping for the 7/95/1. I'm pretty sure either Jennings or Driver will have a good day, just not sure which one. I did well to start Jennings over Driver week 5 when Driver was a little banged up with ribs....

He's scored 4 TDs in his last five games against Detroit. He is in a serious zone at the moment with touchdowns in his last three games and in five of his last six. I think he's a good bet to score on Sunday and I think he gets at least 70 yards receiving. I wouldn't be surprised if he caught a pair of touchdowns this week.

Yes, three things here:

1) He is in a zone

2) It is Detroit

3) At what point does Murphy's law kick in?

I mean great matchup, yet can the streak continue?

Personally, I would love to see Driver keep on. I would love to see a multiple TD day.

C'mon Favre, I am playing you this week as I put Hasselbeck to the bench.

Here's to hoping for a shoot out in Green Bay. :goodposting:

Quick edit:

8 catches, 156 yards, and two scores - how's that for a bias opinion.

After this little jewel of a jinx job, you just assured Driver getting hurt in the first quarter and putting up a donut. Good work, way to spit in the face of the FF gods...

You're not superstitious are you? You can't possible think these postings have anything to do with performance on the field?

I know whenever people predict something to happen, it rarely does. I'd love to see a study of FBG's weekly rankings and compare them to the actual results.I'll bet whoever they rank #1 at every position each week actually finishes there less than 10% of the time.Hence, expectations are rarely, if ever, met....especially when it comes to FF.

You seem to be expecting 4 total yards from scrimmage for Driver. Could this be another example of a prediction being wrong?

Predictions are psychic guesswork. Expectations come from past experience. Thanks to this thread, I now expect a zero from Driver.

Alright then, my expectation is that Driver will do well because past experience, being the past 13 games of this season, show that Driver is one of the top WRs in the NFL and the Lions are pure garbage.

Back to focusing on Driver.....

Has anyone heard what Driver did, specifically, to his shoulder?

Landed on it awkwardly, bruised, strained.....?

Landed awkwardly in the first half but came back and finished the game. His long catch and run was after the injury.

Didn't think you would back up your prediction. It's easy to BS when you don't have anything on the line.
:banned: At least I made one...why don't you share your expertise instead of your ignorance and make your own estimate? LMAO at a guy calling someone out who is afraid to stand by his own thoughts because he doesn't have any!

I think his production depends on the Lions offense frankly (also the Lions ability to slow down Green which I doubt due to their injuries).

Hey H.K.,Do your parents know that you are playing with their computer? I've been hanging out more on the board lately & it gets a little old viewing your countless off the wall statements that are made soley to illicit a rise out of others. It's so played. Try teasing your sisters.....it has the same desired effect.

I don't have sisters :lmao: , so I hang out here.Gotta go, Mom says I have to take a bath now.

There are no such things as jinxes and fantasy gods. Grow up.

Driver will not have a huge game, but will score.

55 yards and a TD.

If this were week 5 maybe... but Favre only has 3 more weeks to break the TD record... even if they are up 2 TDs, they still throw on 1st and goal.

A little statistical background: Here are Driver's stats vs. Detroit since Dre' Bly joined the Lions before the 2003 season (Bly also played in all these games).

2003

Week 13: 4-47, 0 TD

2004

Week 6: 9-110, 2 TD

Week 14: 4-87, 1 TD

2005

Week 1: 4-48, 0 TD

Week 14: 4-32, 0 TD

2006

Week 3: 3-20 1 TD

TOTAL: 28-344, 4 TD

AVERAGE: 4.7-57.3, 0.7 TD (9.9 fantasy points)

So Driver's been held under 50 yards in each of the last three match-ups vs. the Lions/Bly. Makes me a little nervous.

Note: The big game in week 6 of 2004 was the first week Bly was back from a knee injury.

2 of the last 3 were in September (2005 and 2006) when the Lions actually had hope for a season. Given Bly's attitude since he's been a Lion I'm not sure I would count on him as much going into Lambeau in December when the Lions are 2-11. The other game was last December for a Sunday night game. I seem to recall a stinker of a game for the Sunday night game with crappy weather. Just seems as though Favre and Driver are playing with some pride this year and will be looking for a good game tomorrow, while the Lions.......well..........well  We shall see

If "it" is what you have, I prefer not to get it. I just choose to provide actual statistics/analysis, rather than making outrageous claims just to get attention.

 :lmao: :lmao: at salmonstud thinking you're a pre-adult. I guess your posts come across that way to him. :coffee:edit to add...As for my Driver prediction....Between 3-9 recs for anywhere among 36-155 yards with anywhere near 0-3 TD's. :D

Some more analysis...

Weeks Driver went off: 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 14

Weeks A. Green went off: 1, 7, 8, 9, 13

Same weeks both went off: 1, 7, 9 .....(2 of 3 were road games @MIA, @BUF, vs. ARI)

Basically - no trend found :banned:

Don't sell yourself short. Looks to me like you found one. They're more likely to go off together on odd numbered weeks.
