I cant draw with people around. I lock myself away in isolation with the only sound being music. When I work on finished pieces like the old scans it gets way worse. I have to finish a piece in one sitting or else I will never go back and finish it. Usually they take 8 hours on average. The owl took about 18.

I wont be doing it every day, but when im working and we live together I dont know how she will handle me drawing the entire weekend and only having me available in the evenings.

I dont know what kind of focus I could get in to. Ive gone weeks of drawing nearly 20 hours a day. It really becomes an obsession at times.

Not many women could handle. If I met another artist they would understand. My girl now is very emotionally needy. Bern trying to encourage her to take online courses to occupy her time

RISD isn't really one of those, "Hey, why don't I give art school a whirl?" schools.

I sort of did give it a whirl in video game design but I didnt find it stimulating. I was always self taught and all techniques they taught us in the drawing classes I had already figured out on my own as a kid.

Last time I went to the metropolitan museum of art I would get up inches from the canvasses to look at brush strokes. My date got a little weirded out. People have caught me staring at stone walls and thought I was losing my mind. I was just looking at textures
