Dorsey or Kenny Watson? (1 Viewer)

Do any Bengals homers know who is officially the primary backup to Rudi now? Dorsey had 4 carries for 81 yards last week, where Watson was 3 for 10 yards. But Watson did get 6 catches for 48 yards. If you had to start one of these RBs in a PPR league, is Watson still the guy or is Dorsey the new #2? :excited:

Actually The better question is, who will be the #1 next year because Rudi is pretty much done.

Year TM | G | Att Yards Y/A TD | Rec Yards Y/R TD |

+----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+

| 2002 cin | 7 | 17 67 3.9 0 | 6 34 5.7 0 |

| 2003 cin | 13 | 215 957 4.5 9 | 21 146 7.0 0 |

| 2004 cin | 16 | 361 1454 4.0 12 | 15 84 5.6 0 |

| 2005 cin | 16 | 337 1458 4.3 12 | 23 90 3.9 0 |

| 2006 cin | 16 | 341 1309 3.8 12 | 23 124 5.4 0 |

| 2007 cin | 10 | 163 481 3.0 3 | 12 103 8.6 1

THUD!

Good point. I own both backs in a dynasty, but trying to figure out who I MUST start due to Bush's injury.

IMO Watsn is still the better play. He has done nothing to shake his confidence in his coaches and he does seem to be a good in passing situations. If I had to peg his role, I would say he is a quasi-third down back with the potential to be a 1st and 2nd down backup. With Rudi and Dorsey in the mix, I think the 15+ point performances are gone, but I do think you can count on 8-10 points from him per week in PPR.

Maybe pick one out of a hat? And I'm serious.Let me change that. Watson. If Johnson gets hurt, he gets the bulk of carries. Root for an injury and start Watson.

Watson catches nicely out of the backfield too, a plus in ppr leagues.Next year I think it's an open competition, and I personally think Kenny Irons (if healthy) could eventually come out on top and put up very good numbers.

Will Chris Perry still be with the team or does his contract run out this year?

Watson is the better play as his carries are more reliable. It seems though that Dorsey is more likely to get that one "home run" type of play and they keep putting in new plays for him in the offense.

Rudi-Watson-Dorsey-Irons-Perry, things are getting crowded, that's for sure looking at next year!
