I went with Jeff Baker (FL) in my league, love what the guy's done since the Fish stole him from the A's for Jason Stokes.

Wrist surgeries are always scary things. I'm assuming I'm not getting much of a player back mid-year.

My NL only league, the top choices to replace him were Hundley or Jaramillo.



I took Jaramillo.

Oops, my bad. John Baker, obviously.

Baker isn't a terrible option. He's batting #2 in the order which is a lot better than the typical #8 slot for a NL waiver wire hitter.

Dang, those were my only choices as well (or I could have really reached for Kendall or Paulino).I put in for Hundley first, Jamarillo second. Unfotunately now I have to tie up 4 roster spots for two catchers as I have farmed Teagarden, start Doumit and Saltalamacchia - and now have to pick up Hundley or Jamarillo. Ugly.
