Someone in our league (keeper) has suggested going froma serpentine draft (12,11,10....2,1,1,2......11,12) to a tradional 12,11,....2,1, 12,11,...1

What do some of your league's do regarding the draft? We have used serpentine the last several years. I'm just trying to get some feedback on what people most often see. Does it make sense to switch once teams have been established? Thanks!

Double Serpentine worked well for my league this year.

This is exactly what we plan on doing next year. This year was our initial draft and it was a serp. Next year we are switching to trad so the worst teams have a good shot at improving. After a couple years we may switch to the double serp as there are a few newer teams with little IDP experience. I think it is a good idea though otherwise next year the last place team gets the 1st pick (could be a bust) then has to wait 20+ players before picking again..big disadvantage imo

In our keeper league, this is what we do. The first year was a serpentine. It does help the bad teams improve.

Most (all?) dynasties use straight, while most of my redraft use serpentine. There are a few keepers that do the first two rounds straight and then serpentine after that (i.e., 12...1, 12...1, 1...12).If you're going to change from serpentine, I would say auction
