Draft Software (1 Viewer)

I have an inFocus projector at my disposal for my upcoming draft and we were thinking of using software for the draft board, as opposed to the old stickers. Has anyone done this before, and do you have suggestions for what to use?

Somebody mentioned fandraft.com, and that looks ok, I was just wondering if there were other alternatives out there...

TIA

Draft Dominator is a pretty good choice. Just zero out the projections. Plus if you were going to subscribe anyway it's free. And if you weren't then it's like a free subscription. :)

FBG really needs to get on this and enhance this product for use as a draft "presenter" software.

My local league uses MS Excel, and it works fine. Most people have the Draft Dominator running on their laptops, but we put the draft board on the wall (with a projector) using Excel. Very easy.

Yeah, actually I had posted about that exact idea in the Applications forum a while back. I'm not 100% sold on the idea of using DD as the draft tracker (plus I'd hate to expose all my league-mates to one of my secret weapons!) I am already a FBG subscriber and if I don't see something else soon I may end up going with DD, but I was hoping to find something specifically designed for this use at a draft. And maybe a little flashier, to get that "watching the draft on ESPN" feel. As much as I don't want to shell out $30 for the fandraft software, it does look nice and I know all the cretins in my league will be impressed. :)

Whatever Booee..........

Seriously though, Fandraft is pretty awesome. If you are in a league with real die-hards half of them will have erections because of Fandraft.

This wasn't exactly the result I was looking for, but I appreciate the advice. So, seriously, is it worth the $30, or do you just work for the company?

FanDraft works pretty well. It constantly saves your progress so if something crashes you are fine. I didn't like that the player list (especially IDPs) was not complete. Some player's names were even wrong (Cory Buckhalter, for instance). For $30, you'd think these little things wouldn't even be issues. Functionally though, it worked fine.
