Drafted - not sure I like it (1 Viewer)

Well, tonight was the big night of the year.  Family league for all the marbles.  12 team non-PPR standard scoring league.

I did use Draft Dominator and had one issue with it.  At one point I could not find a player that was chosen and panicked and entered out of order so that the system thought I had an extra WR and no TE for a long time when in fact I had taken Pitts and all it meant was I ignored the fact it kept listing TEs as priorities for me.  Any case I'm not sure if I did well and welcome opinions.

QBs - Hurts, Burrows

RBs - Chubb, Taylor, Conner, Sermon, Penny, Ty'son Williams

WRs - R Woods, Cooper, Higgins, Hardman

TEs - Pitts, Higbee

D - Washington

K - Succop

I dunno.  I put a lot of effort in and feel I did better in most of my mock drafts.  Maybe I'm just suddering draft post-partum.  LOL,  Appreciate opinions.

Seems like DD really wants you to take TE's even when it's recognised you've already got one tbh

Team looks ok although I'm not loving the WR situation even taking into account you going RB/RB 1/2

What are the starting requirements?  Your QB's are a little worrisome as they both have some significant risk.  Your WR depth is really short and I am not  high on Cooper, Woods, or Hardman. It could work out but there is a ton of risk.  I also wouldn't have rostered a second TE and would have preferred to get another WR dart throw.

Thanks guys.  I appreciate the reviews and pretty much agree with what both of you said.  The starting requirements are 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 flex, K and D.

I had planned to go RB/WR with my first two picks but could not pass on Taylor and Chubb.  Both Hill and Adams were taken.  I had both my picks rated as middle first rounders and hey, had to do it.  Hoping that Amari stays healthy and remains at least co-WR1 in Dallas.  If he does I feel he and Lamb can both be WR1s.  Woods, well he is consistent.

I think one of Higgins/Hardman could break out but yeah, I'd like more depth.  Just going to watch week one carefully for an emerging player.

For QBs I was stunned how early the top 6 went.  I thought maybe Brady would slip to me at the turn of 5:12/6:1 but no dice.  So instead I focused on more WR/RB types and took Pitts, yet another gamble.  Didn't take a QB until round 7:12.  Got Burrows at 10:1 which I was surprised by since later several teams were forced to take dregs.

I entered all of it into DD and did a "rate my team" and it came back giving me an A.  There were 3 teams rated as such and one A-.  So I don't know.  If I strike gold with one of the receivers maybe there is a chance.

Thanks again,

I don't mind it. I agree those QB's carry a ton of risk, but they also have huge upside, so you only really need 1 to hit.

I also would drop Higbee in favor of another WR (not huge on Penny either, but I suspect there is no one better to pick up at the moment anyway). All in all the team looks pretty good for a 12 team league.
