Volek, an undrafted free agent in 2000 out of Fresno State, now is the Titans' starter. He has been working with the first-team offense in minicamps all spring, and Fisher said the coaches will prepare Volek, Young and Matt Mauck to play this season.

"How things are going to unfold, I can't be specific. But I can say Billy is going to line up as our starter. He inherits the role now, and we're getting Vince ready to play as quickly as we can," Fisher said by telephone.

Like I said, I think Volek's value can climb and it does now with this announcement. Obviously, the writing is on the wall with Young in the wings. Hopefully, he does well early on and becomes a tradeable commodity.I don't think Bennett takes as much a hit with Young at the helm that people believe.

Personally at ADP of 31 I think there's a good chance of him outperforming that.

The Titans are going to have to teach 2 offenses this year, 1 for Volek and 1 for Young. It'll take a year for Young to learn how to spell Playbook, let alone memorize one. As for Bennett, what makes Volek a good QB is that he is good at reading defenses and spreads the ball around (he was a coaches son). I'm not so sure that helps Bennett, but I don't think it hurts him either.
