Drew Brees -- Is tonight the night? (1 Viewer)

Okay Yudkin, you were right -- Drew Brees has regressed.

But here's my question for you: Brees may not be as good as he looked last year, but surely he's also not as bad as he looks this year. At what point does the regression theory actually start to work in his favor?

Sincerely,

One who is starting Big Ben's backup tonight due to bye, and really hoping for some progression back towards the mean . . .

until Brees does something, he will have to stay on my bench.

that is very sad considering my other options are Anderson and Culpepper.

until he can get at least one consistant WR (or even Bush) then he is almost useless

I acquired him as a secondary piece in a trade, and am not starting him this week despite Roesthlisberger being on a bye. I think he has a shot at salvaging something this season; I'm just not sure it will be this week. He's on the road in one of the toughest and loudest places to play in the league against a defense that really hasn't been all that bad (SEA). If he goes off on my bench, so be it, but since we're penalized for INTs I need to see something first, considering his 1/9 TD/INT ratio.
