Drop Jordan Reed for Waiver Wire TE's? (1 Viewer)

Would you guys drop Jordan Reed for one of the current "assumed" Waiver Wire TE's?

Jared Cook

Dwayne Allen

Jermaine Gresham

Hard dumping on Reed so soon, but the injuries just keep piling PLUS Allen and Gresham have some real upside now with the incumbent starters injured for a long time.

Thoughts?

I'd say it is safe. Let him and his numerous injuries be some other guys headache. I dropped him.

Dumpsville for me. Reed will be out a few weeks, RG3 and the O-line are a mess, and I refuse to roster 2 TEs this early in the season. There will always be a WW TE who can get you 10 points, which is all Reed really is anyway.

I'll probably add D Allen, but Donnell is also intriguing.

Just dumped him for Donnell. I have Kelce as well but will be starting Donnell this week. I like Gresham's matchup against the Falcons this week, but I don't know if he gets many more snaps because of the Eifert injury. Gresham was already on the field quite a bit. His targets may go up, who knows.

I almost dumped him because ESPN has updated him to OUT yet so can't put him on IR. Was going to cut for Donnell, Toiliolo, Gresham, Niles Paul, in that order. But ended up cutting my kicker and picking up Donnell & Toilolo both. Will put Reed on IR once status is updated.

I think he's too valuable when healthy to cut outright. Just look at the targets Paul got. If that had been Reed everyone would be doing backflips.

I would retain him if it's at all possible. The hamstring injury is frustrating, as is the "some time" timetable that Gruden is offering, but he's one of a handful of TEs who could be a difference-maker when he comes back, and the inury doesn't sound too serious (even though it could drag out, as hamstring problems do). The payoff for patience here is big enough that I think it's worth the roster spot.

Sometimes it's satisfying to dump a highly-owned player that you know will be disappointing, then watch another owner pick them up so you can say "your headache now". Reed seems like a prime candidate, but I'm still going to wait for more info about his injury.

Hold for me. Picked up Cook after the Rice ordeal.

If he's healthy he starts for me. Too athletic for the Skins not to use him.

I dropped him for Gresham this week. I like his matchup against Atlanta, plus with Eifert now out a few weeks, he will be getting more targets.

I dropped his #### for Crowell. Already had gronk and kelce so Reed was a luxury. Unfortunately he is a luxury that will never see the field long enough to ever make any kind of real impacts or his team or for fantasy owners. BW the concussions, the thumb, and now the hammy he's officially earned the fragile tag.

If you wanna drop him, trade him instead. I assume this is a redraft, but if you can trade for future picks...
Wish I could, but I think an injured TE is worth less than a half-eaten cupcake.

Wanted to hold out as we can play TE as WR but had to drop for M Bennett as J Thomas has week 4 bye. Unless I have a stud TE (with late bye) I'll hold 2 and play matchups.
