Dump Finley? (1 Viewer)

Still holding, like a losing lottery ticket and I'm hoping if I look at it again maybe the numbers will change.

Unstartable.
With bye upcoming, he's probably going to be cut in quite a few leagues (if not already done). His last 5 games: 84 TOTAL receiving yards. 8 game scoreless streak. Not sure how that's even possible with Aaron Rodgers as your QB.Jennings has been out all year. Jordy's missed a couple games. Not sure how many more excuses the guy will come up with. If you're having chemistry issues with your QB after 5 seasons together, you really need to look in the mirror. And not at your Super Bowl winning All Pro QB. And who won that Super Bowl....with you on IR.
Really wish I hadn't traded for him hoping he'd turn it around. It doesn't bode well when everything lines up in your favor and you still suck. Outperformed by Jarrett Boykin!

The guy i played this week dripped him two weeks ago. I p/u Finley to start against him (for Hernandez) to show him how smart i was. I played against B. myers. I bet that guy is laughing pretty hard today. F®@@ !

Still holding here. My league awards a 5 point bonus for catch celebrations where the players hand goes to the helmet and stays there for more than 2 seconds. So, Finley is TE2 in my league.

seems more akin to holding on to Washington Mutual stock. it's worthless but not really worth selling either.

As mentioned earlier, only reason I'm holding for this season is that my league is a deep keeper league. I drop him now and no doubt he'll dominate somewhere else next year on someone else's roster.

I'm glad I picked up Myers this week....if only I would have started him.

Next week Myers - and every week after.

Massive waste of talent and potential. I seriously hope the Packers part ways with him after the season.
Here Here! The sad part for Packer fans and anyone invested FF wise is that if ever ther was a time for Finley to shine it's been this season. Jennings/Nelson going down should have provided plenty of opportunities. He doesn't know the playbook and I don't believe Rodgers trusts him.

So I've got Finley as the only TE on my dynasty roster right now, and I obviously need another for this week, and likely for the rest of the season. I have a lot of future draft picks I can use to trade for one (waiver wire picked pretty clean), but what TEs can you buy right now that are somewhat consistent other than Graham or Gronk who literally can not be bought in my league?

sure, soon after I state this I trade him and he EXPLODES!
66 yards and 1 TD is considered an explosion? This is the type of game Finley owners should've expected all season on a regular basis. Hopefully he'll be able to build on this game and be a consistent TE1 ROS, but it could just end up being fools gold for all Finley owners

The talk was that he and Rodgers "talked" over the bye week, and that things are better. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

I never cut him. I couldn't. :bag:
This. Except I actually started him this week - my TE situation is a mess in several leagues. Here's to hoping Finley puts together a late-season run much like his destruction of the stretch/playoffs of a few years ago. :banned:

Jermichael Finley acknowledges that he's no lock to return to Green Bay under a $4.45 million salary and $3.5 million roster bonus due in March."I love that question man," Finley said. "I don't know. All I know is I have talent. And if Green Bay decides to do something with me, I'm 25 years old." Finley is frustrated that he's been dropped to the fourth option in the passing game. "I think (Randall) Cobb's taken my position from '09," said Finley. "I want to line up where Cobb's lining up because I know the ball's coming there." Backup D.J. Williams should be stashed in deeper Dynasty leagues.
You're also delusional guy.His position...from '09. :lmao:You're not going to be back. It's not a question anymore. You've been passed by Nelson, by Cobb, by Jones. Look in the mirror moron.

51 yards on 3 catches and 5 targets tonight. He may be on the ww in many leagues and is showing signs of life. Gates owners or others needing a desperate TE play, you should look this way. Perhaps the bye week talk with Rodgers did something.

Rodgers didn't have time to look down field tonight. And still dropped an easy pass today. I'm glad I got got rid of him.

One of his catches was on a ball that wasn't even thrown to him. It was that wacky deflection play.

7 targets last game. Only Jennings had more with 8. 6 catches, 60 yards. It's not as sexy as Brandon Myers but the last 3 weeks he's been getting targets and putting up decent point totals. If he was dropped in your league he may be someone to snag.

He is Green Bay's leading receiver over the past 3 weeks, which may be more indicative of how pedestrian the Packers' passing attack has been over that span than Finley's re-emergence.
