they're starting Gwynn, Gross, and Jenkins today, I wouldn't exactly call that loaded. They do have Hart and Hall, but Dunn is a pretty big step up from Gross and Jenkins.
would the Reds even want any of those outfielders in return? what are the Brewers giving up here? pitching?

On July 19, 2007 Adam Dunn was traded from the last place Cincinnati Reds, to the first place Milwaukee Brewers, in exchange for Tony Gwynn Jr, Matt Wise and infield prospect. The Brewers hope Dunn can add more pop to an already respectable offense.

Dunn is a FA after the season if he's traded. If Milwaukee is giving a lot they better have him signed beforehand.

Gwynn makes ssense since he's young and expendable if you get Dunn, who's essentially a rental now.Wise can probably be spun off for another prospect since there are BOATLOADS of teams looking for RP.
EDIT:In otherwords its not a whole heck of a lot they gave up.

Obviously Hart is just getting a day off and Hall should return soon from injury. Jenkins/Mench have been productive... still - he's an upgrade in left if the price isn't too high.

That's why it might not be officially announced until after the game.
Or it's a hoax.It has since been removed which leads me to believe that this was a hoax.I was looking for anything that would confirm the rumor.

Hell yeah, you're on my list and I checked it twice. I rarely re-post rumors but I did in this case at my #2 board but they already forgave me. This is a damn good rumor that I thought was probably true and I ended up looking a little dumb.
