Not only JuJu, but several of the top rbs as well, right?JuJu has been a huge bust this season. 99 receiving yards...after three games.

Yeah, Chubb had one good game. Cook has a horrible cast around him. Fournette shows flashes, etc......Not only JuJu, but several of the top rbs as well, right?
I currently have 8 picks (4 1st and 4 2nd round picks)I'm somewhat surprised that Chubb is even playing. His injury was very serious and I think you have to look at his 2016 in a different light compared with his 2014-2015. I don't know if he's going to be the same guy just yet, if ever. That's why I was skittish about picking him with the 1.01 dev even though I've historically been a huge believer. He needs to show that he's back. You can't assume that it will happen.
Been down on Cook and Fournette relative to their hype for a while. Plenty of other names look good though. Freeman has had a strong season. Mixon looks good. Perine looks good, despite the numbers. McCaffrey is doing the same type of stuff he did last year. Hood is putting up stats. The depth in this group is strong.
The 2018 RB group looks really strong too, though that's not the topic of this thread.
I can't remember ever being so excited about the college RB landscape as I am about the 2017-2018 groups collectively. There might be 10 NFL starters between the two classes. Loads of viable RB talent will be entering the league very soon. The best influx that we've seen in a while, IMO. But yea, there's not one 2017 guy that I'd currently sell the farm for.
And two kickers with the other two picks?!I currently have 8 picks (4 1st and 4 2nd round picks)
I "currently" plan to grab 1 QB, 1TE, 1WR and 3 RBs.
Giddy Up!
Tex
Good take on the 2017 class. At this stage there is a big group of 8-10 great prospects and the 10th best right now could end up being perceived as the 1st best come rookie draft time.EBF said:I'm somewhat surprised that Chubb is even playing. SMU's redshirt sophomore, Courtland Sutton, is in the top 2 with Mike Williams.I feel like this draft is going to be stacked with RBs but is this also true for WRs? Seems like this could be a year where the top 6 picks in rookie drafts are all RBs. Which WRs could crack into the top 5 factoring in how they are doing so far this year?
Edit: answering my own question... looks like Juju and Mike Williams are the top guys. Who does everyone have as their top 3 WRs from a fantasy dynasty perspective and why?

Of course a coach that is getting ready to face the guy is going to say something like that.
Freeman is very good. Great hips and feet like Le'Veon Bell except more explosive than Bell was in college. Very capable receiver as well. He's not my top guy, but he has as much upside as any other RB.
ESPN's Mel Kiper says Youngstown State senior edge rusher Derek Rivers "plays bigger than he is and generates a lot of power in his pass rush."
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound end had 27 sacks over the past three seasons and just keeps on keepin' on. "In the loss to South Dakota on Saturday, he impressed me in every area, and he was much more disruptive than stats indicated," Kiper wrote. "He just kept blowing up plays. ... He's double-teamed on every play, but he still finds a way to beat those blockers." Rivers, a tight end and linebacker in high school, is a plus athlete for his size.

I haven't watched him at all yet. I'm curious though.Freeman is very good. Great hips and feet like Le'Veon Bell except more explosive than Bell was in college. Very capable receiver as well. He's not my top guy, but he has as much upside as any other RB.
Jackson cannot go pro until 2018.
Washington senior WR John Ross believes that the torn ACL suffered in spring of 2015 helped him to develop into a more well-rounded football player.
We have heard these kinds of refrains before -- as much as an injury can completely devastate a career, it also provides a different perspective. Said Ross, "I'm honestly happy that I got hurt. It just changed me physically, mentally, emotionally, in football, in every aspect. I got to learn so much just by watching." The 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior has been a consistent contributor for the Huskies this season, catching 21 passes for 271 yards and six touchdowns. This weekend, Ross and crew will head to Eugene in attempt to exercise some demons. Oregon has defeated Washington in 12 consecutive contests. The two teams could not be trending in more opposite directions at this time, though. Washington is fresh off a nationally-televised stomping of Stanford, while Oregon has lost three consecutive games and is likely to replace QB Dakota Prukop with true freshman Justin Herbert.
