[Dynasty] 2017 Draft Prospects (2 Viewers)

Oregon redshirt senior TE Pharaoh Brown has been accused of violence three times since 2014 relating to off the field incidents, according to an investigation by the Daily Emerald.
Two altercations include former teammates, one in 2014 where he knocked a player unconscious, the other in the summer of 2016 where he fought a teammate in a locker room. The most disturbing, however, is this note from the Daily Emerald, "Eugene Police Department investigated Brown for strangulation in October 2015 following a physical fight with his girlfriend at his apartment." Apparently, police concluded that the female involved was the aggressor, and no charges were delivered in any of the three incidents. Brown missed the entire 2015 season after a horrible late 2014 knee injury. He has performed well in his return to the field this year.

Utah senior RB Joe Williams rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in Saturday's 30-28 loss to Oregon.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound junior has topped 100 yards in five straight games since returning from his mini-retirement. What a strange season it has been. Williams was mediocre in the first two games, missed one game to injury, retired for another three and has now had 149 yards or more and at least one rushing touchdown in five straight games.

Iowa State junior WR Allen Lazard caught seven passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 66-10 smashing of Texas Tech.
Lazard scored a 34-yard touchdown right after the commercial break flip from the first to second quarters. That one gave Iowa State a 21-3 lead. They ultimately didn't need more than that against a Red Raiders team that looked like it has thrown in the towel, but tacked on another 44 points just because that is what you do when you play Texas Tech. The 6-foot-5, 223-pound Lazard has been brilliant of late, going off for at least 120 yards receiving in three of his last four games. In that quartet of contests, he has caught 31 passes for 467 yards and three touchdowns.

Mississippi State senior WR Fred Ross caught 10 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 58-42 loss to Arkansas.
Ross set multiple bests for the season in Saturday's high-scoring defeat. This was his first game with double-digit receptions in 2016 and also his first over 130 yards receiving. After setting a school record for catches with 88 a year ago, the 6-foot-2, 207-pound senior has hauled in 68 for 852 yards and 11 scores through 11 games this season. The Bulldogs will wrap up their regular season campaign against Ole Miss next Saturday.

Ole Miss senior TE Evan Engram caught six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 38-17 loss to Vanderbilt.
Engram led the Rebs in receiving yardage and tied Van Jefferson for the team lead with his six receptions. The 6-foot-3, 227-pound senior's touchdown came from 38 yards out with 14:53 remaining in the contest. He has been nothing short of phenomenal this season, working to a 65-926-8 receiving line over the course of 11 games.

Ole Miss TE Evan Engram has accepted his Senior Bowl invitation.
So many NFL fans will be thirsty for Engram after watching him in practice and reviewing his SEC tape. We will not go as far to say that Engram is the next Jordan Reed... but someone will. Engram is a receiving tight end who put together his most productive season and has a good shot of crossing 1,000 receiving yards this year.

Can't wait to see what Engram does. He gets open at will and is going to be a monster in the NFL.

Interested to hear what the Pool thinks about D'Onta Foreman. Foreman wasn't a high profile recruit. The only reason he ended up at Texas was because his twin brother told them it was a package deal. Armanti Foreman was a 4 start recruit (WR).

One source I saw said he carries a 1st round grade if he comes out. Curious to hear some opinions since I haven't scouted him yet.

Apparently he is a fumbler. He needs to fix that.

Don't really see him going in the 1st.

ESPN's Todd McShay says West Virginia junior RB Justin Crawford "is a big-play rusher."
West Virginia got embarrassed on Saturday in a 56-28 loss to Oklahoma, but in that game Crawford converted 34 carries into 331 yards. To McShay's point, Crawford averaged 14 yards per carry against the Sooners and is up to 7.6 ypc on the season. Overall, he's rushed for 930 yards and four touchdowns through 10 games.

I've watched just about every game he's played; he's a great college player but I don't see him as a 1st round talent. I wouldn't be shocked if he went in the third or later. He's big and fast and an excellent pass blocker, but doesn't have great lateral movement and isn't as powerful as you'd think for 250 pounds. He's also got ball control issues and  got run into the ground at the end of this year.

The Cowboys drafting another RB in the 1st round is ridiculous.

I wouldn't get worked up over it.  It's Sports Illustrated.  They're purpose for awhile now is trying to make news, not report and journalize it.

If he goes to the right team. Engram in ARI or MIA is pretty useless. SF would be awful. BUF would be awful. NO would be great. DAL would be great. TB would be great.

He's the best catching TE in the NCAA why would anyone draft him for any other reason?

Don't forget GB, Pitt, maybe Sea and a few others that might be in need of a TE.
