I'm so bummed our draft is over. Now I'm having buyer's remorse with Chase over Harris at 1.01.
I think you made the right choice. Chase's profile is elite. Only time will tell, but no reason to doubt yourself now.I'm so bummed our draft is over. Now I'm having buyer's remorse with Chase over Harris at 1.01.![]()

Thanks, man. Always good to hear. PPR with only half PPR for running backs, so that had something to do with it. We shall see. Chase is generally the second chosen in our format, so it's not like I went nuts with the dollar or anything.I think you made the correct choice, substantially.
Bears sixth-round WR Dazz Newsome suffered a broken collarbone Tuesday and will be sidelined for eight weeks.
Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, it was a "clean break," and Newsome will be fine following surgery. He's expected to be ready for training camp. The UNC product stands 5'11/190 and blazed a 4.34 forty at the Tar Heels' Pro Day. He'll compete for a job behind Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, and Damiere Byrd.

Patrick Mahomes complimented WR Cornell Powell's contested catch ability during Kansas City's OTAs.
Mahomes described Powell, the team's fifth round pick out of Clemson, as a "beast." "He's big out there, running across the field and making some big catches in some tough, contested spots," Mahomes said. The aged rookie, who enters the NFL at 24, had an excellent final year at Clemson, catching 53 passes for 882 yards and seven touchdowns in 2020. Powell last year had four receptions of at least 50 yards and at least one 20-yard reception in seven of his final eight games. Playing time could be hard to come by for Powell in 2021, though injuries or struggles among the Chiefs' tertiary wideouts could give the rookie a shot at fantasy relevance in KC's high-powered offense.

FWIW I think it’s 6 of one, half dozen of the other. All comes down to whether your team needed a WR or a RB. There’s no wrong answer between them.I'm so bummed our draft is over. Now I'm having buyer's remorse with Chase over Harris at 1.01.![]()
Well, I nabbed Roundtree with my 5.08, so I’m glad a few sources are high on him. I think he has a good chance at winning the RB2 job & being an immediate contributor.
These guys are undervalued? J. Williams went 5th in my Dynasty Rookie Draft and Rondale Moore went top 14... Kyle Pitts was the 2nd player off the board.
The article was for redraft leagues and the position rankings and ADP data that they are referencing is for all players - rookies and veterans all in the available player pool together. These guys are undervalued? J. Williams went 5th in my Dynasty Rookie Draft and Rondale Moore went top 14... Kyle Pitts was the 2nd player off the board.
Pitts should have gone 1st? Williams top 3 and Rondale Moore 4th just behind Ja'Marr Chase? Color me confused...
The Athletic's Zac Jackson reports that Anthony Schwartz is likely to begin the season as a special teams contributor.
The Browns are deep at both wide receiver and tight end. Rashard Higgins filled in admirably for Odell Beckham last season, averaging 1.99 yards per route run. Sixth round rookie Donovan Peoples-Jones averaged 1.83 YPRR in limited action while flashing big play upside. The Browns are also likely to continue using Harrison Bryant and David Njoku in two tight end sets in tandem with starter Austin Hooper. As a result, Schwartz may start his career as a special teams player. Schwartz however, returned exactly zero punts and kicks in his three seasons at Auburn. So while he's likely to see some kick return reps at camp, according to Jackson, he is unlikely to win the kick returner job. Schwartz could earn another spot on the special teams unit, but it looks quite possible that he'll begin the season as a game day inactive.

Appreciate the link as always - I think a good point of conversation with this article is the faith the writer has in Smith over Chase and Waddle or even Pitts. Smith is going to get the over on 5.5 TD's but Pitts getting 7, Chase getting 7 seems attrocious? I would say their QB play seems to be significantly better than an unproven Jalen Hurts. I'm also higher on Waddle getting over 5 than I am on Smith getting 5.5.
Without articles like this, it'd be difficult to get a jump on the competition.
Not seeing the logic in drafting St. Brown, Eskridge, Gainwell, or Wilson (unless 2 QBs of course) in front of Dyami Brown.
Scot McCloughan said he's the steal of the draft. Thinks he's a legit #1. Player PosRnk count Avg SD

The morning after a Chiefs preseason Week 1 victoryDid Cornell Powell get any playing time?
Cornell Powell didn’t get his first snaps on offense until the midway point of the third quarter, mostly playing with the fourth-string offense. That’s been consistent with the type of snaps he’d been getting at training camp. It was also consistent with his roster depth on the first depth chart of the preseason.
While Powell didn’t get in on the action until later in the game, he did have a solid outing — one that warrants a deeper look in the preseason. Powell caught 2-of-3 passes for 20 yards, including a very nice contested grab, pictured above. He had one incomplete pass wiped out due to a very weak offensive pass interference penalty. On the lone target that he didn’t catch, Powell was streaking wide open down the sideline and was overthrown by QB Shane Buechele.
Powell showed enough late in the game to warrant a closer look during the preseason. As a 2021 NFL draft pick, even just a fifth-rounder, he’s going to be given every chance to succeed. There’s no doubt in my mind that Powell helped himself with what he was able to show on offense against the 49ers.
