[Dynasty] 2021 NFL Draft Class (1 Viewer)

Was thinking of the pro days. Chase runs a 4.38 with sick shuttle, vert, broad, and other scores.

Pitts runs a 4.44 with the largest measured wingspan in recent memory. More than D.K. Metcalf.

So I'm cross-posting this in order to get a possible discussion going. Who goes where?

I'm starting to think ETN slips a little.  Not out of the top 5 however.  I can see 1) Harris, 2) Chase, 3) Pitts, as the top 3, especially in TE premium leagues.

Yeah, Pitts was at seven in ADP. I've gotta think he skyrockets now. Etienne now drops, IMHO. I still hate Harris's big "23" emblazoned in the age department and have Etienne ahead of him depending on landing spot, but consensus will change after these pro days.

I looked it up. Chase has a 1.80 ADP, Harris has a 1.90 ADP, Etienne has a 3.40, Williams has a 5.40. Pitts is at seven with a 7.10, so he's got a long, long way to go to get to Chase and Harris. I bolded Etienne's because of this thread.

We should really move this into the 2021 Rookie Thread. I'll cross-post.

So who do you guys have as your top ten?

1. Ja'Marr Chase

2. Najee Harris

3. Javonte Williams

4. Travis Etienne

5. Jaylen Waddle

6. Kyle Pitts

7. DeVonta Smith

8. Trevor Lawrence

9. Michael Carter

10. Rashod Bateman

1.01   Najee Harris
1.02   JaMarr Chase
1.03   Travis Etienne
1.04   Javonte Williams
1.05   Kyle Pitts
1.06   Trevor Lawrence
1.07   Jaylen Waddle
1.08   DeVonta Smith
1.09   Rashod Bateman
1.10   Rondale Moore

If there is a player I have the urge to move up higher, it is Kyle Pitts.  I want to see who drafts him first.

First round looks pretty awesome at this point. After about Terrace Marshall, rookie drafts can go many different directions depending on position need and landing spot, but it’s a deep draft through round 2 into 3.

I like your list and even though I don't agree with ETN over Williams I can accept it.  I do however believe I would take either Elijah Moore or Terrece Marshall over Rondale Moore.

I would not disagree with taking Elijah Moore higher, or taking Rondale lower, for that matter.  Rondale is a freakish athlete, but his height and his inability to remain on the field make him a significant risk.

Georgia QB Jamie Newman said on Wednesday that he's had interviews with members of the Steelers' "brain trust" throughout the pre-draft process.

Newman (6'4/230), who did not suit up for the Bulldogs after transferring to Georgia ahead of the 2020 season, threw but did not do any testing at Wake Forest's (his first school) pro day. Apparently he's had multiple conversations with the Steelers, including interviews with HC Mike Tomlin, OC Matt Canada and GM Kevin Colbert. Pittsburgh has its starting quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger, but he's on the tail end of his career. It makes sense that the team would want to do its due diligence when taking that into consideration. Newman is expected to be a middle-round selection in next month's draft.

I believe he is irrelevant in fantasy football.

Daniel Jeremiah earlier projected Tutu Atwell as a first rounder.  He may not be as skinny as DeVonta Smith.  I have tried to imagine Atwell as a Hollywood Brown-like player, but 155 is so tiny.
That's un-draftable.  Rookie draft un-draftable.

I agree.  I've got Marshall easily over him.  I'm right on the fence between Elijah and Rondale.  I assumed people would act like I'm crazy for pushing Rondale down the board.

1.  Chase

2.  Harris

3.  ETN

4.  Williams

5.  Smith

6.  Pitts

7.  Waddle

8.  Marshall

9.  Bateman

10.  Lawrence

Of course, I’m sitting at the 1.10 slot and have Herbert at QB so don’t need another QB, but everyone has Lawrence in their top 10. I need a young RB and it seems like a choice between Gainwell and Carter at that slot. Thoughts on that tier of RBs after the top 3 are off the board? Assuming this will change post NFL draft but would be nice to see folks thoughts now.

I think Carter is going to be a good, solid back in the NFL. I think he should be drafted in the 8-10 range in rookie drafts. Gainwell, I'm less sold on - but that's based on not much. Just that I'd rather have Marshall or Elijah Moore instead.

In his latest mock draft, ESPN's Todd McShay projected the Washington Football Team to select Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond with the No. 51 overall pick.

Mond (6'3/217) is the first quarterback off the board in Round 2 of McShay's two-round mock affair, with the analyst writing, "The next-best QB was out of range for Washington in Round 1, but selecting Mond -- who could sit behind Ryan Fitzpatrick and Taylor Heinicke all season -- here is smart. His accuracy and mechanics will have to develop, but Mond has arm strength and the ability to extend plays." The analyst has WFT picking Virginia Tech T Christian Darrisaw. The lone other quarterback (outside the usual suspects) to hit the ground running in McShay's mock is Florida QB Kyle Trask, whom he pegs to the Chicago Bears at pick No. 52 overall -- right behind Washington's selection of Mond.

2000 yard season where he relegated Antonio Gibson to a minor role.
Gainwell weighed in over 200 and ran a 4.42 at Memphis' Pro Day.  Gainwell arguably has the best hands in the class, good vision and excellent burst.  He has a lean frame, and that may limit him from being a workhorse back, but  I rank him as my top back once the triumvirate of Harris, Etienne and Williams are off the board.
