[Dynasty] 2022 NFL Draft Class (1 Viewer)

Bob McGinn's annual series, where he polls NFL personnel people on their top 5 players at each position.

Part 1: WR & TE

Part 2: OL

Part 3: QB

Part 4: RB

The leading points-getters (where a 1st place vote is worth 5 pts, 2nd place 4 pts, etc.):

WR: Wilson (57), J Williams (56), Olave (47), London (46), Burks (18), Dotson (8), Moore (4), Metchie (2), Thornton (2)

TE: McBride (73), Dulcich (41), Ruckert (38), Kolar (22), Okonkwo (14), Likely (13), J Woods (13), Ferguson (9), Bellinger (5), Otton (4), Wydermyer (3), Hendershot (2), Prince (2), Calcaterra (1)

QB: Pickett (72), Willis (69), Corral (43), Ridder (35), Howell (30), C Strong (3), Zappe (3)

RB: Hall (73), Walker (71), Spiller (21), B Robinson (20), Cook (16), Pierce (13), Z White (9), Ford (8), Chandler (7), R White (7), Davis-Price (3), K Williams (3), Haskins (2), P Strong (2)

When asked which of the two Ohio State receivers they liked more, the scouts/coaches seemed fairly evenly split on Ohio State WR's Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.

Wilson (6'0"/183) was consistently described as more dynamic, athletic and most bursty, while Olave (6'0"/187) is smoother, a better route runner and, apparently, the better interviewer. One of the coaches said Wilson did poorly in their interview with him, which is not something that's been widely reported. On the other hand, Olave's interview was said to be "awesome" and another coach said Olave has a chip on his shoulder. Another coach said he that Wilson's 4.38 was not his true game speed, and most scouts and analysts are not particularly impressed with his straight-line speed on tape.

Vegas now has #TravonWalker as the favorite to go #1 in the #NFLDraft2022. And he has the traits to pay that off. But what about the production?

@dpbrugler

says "context matters."

FWIW: Several around the NFL (who I trust) believe Jermaine Johnson has a better chance to go No. 4 to the #Jets than Thibodeaux...
