MOX 8: 14 Team non-PPR QRRWWFF (TE=WR)Before start of seasonGave:DeMarco Murray Santonio HolmesGot:C.J. SpillerVictor CruzBeat that!

Two moves that basically = titles14 team 0.5 pprChris RaineyChris Givens2013 1.142013 2.102013 2.14forADP12 team pprVick2013 2.12forWelker

Taking a late round flier on Russell Wilson then trading him for a 2013 1st rounder. It's a salary cap league and rookies can be signed for 4 years at league minimum. We only keep 3 and that 1st rounder can be used on all non protected players at their current salaries or rookies. Of course this could end up being my worst move if Wilson outproduces Luck (who I decided to keep instead of Russell).

Before the season with Mathews getting plenty of hype and Lynch having a possible suspension looming.Gave: Ryan MathewsReceived: Marshawn Lynch. Lamar Miller, Frank Gore

I took over a team that was 0-5 and hadn't made a move all season, and the one good piece was Ray Rice. After week 8, when Cam was getting crucified by the media, and Doug Martin had not yet taken off, I made this deal:Gave:Ray RicePhillip Rivers2013 2nd (ended up 2.01)Received:Cam NewtonDoug MartinRyan Broyles2013 1st (1.09)The next 2 weeks Martin scored 35 and 56, respectively, and Cam finished the season on a tear.

7 round 16 team rookie draft. josh gordon was added to mfl in the mid 7th round of our draft. i traded my future 6th to get the 7.16 and draft gordon. a few weeks later, the league decided i should not be able to draft gordon there so they make me repick. my repick was alfred morris :)

.Spin gave up Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.08;Year 2012 Draft Pick 2.03;Year 2012 Draft Pick 3.05The Bounty Hunters gave up Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.04Traded up during the draft to snag RG3. RG3 + Rodgers combo lead me to the first round bye + a championship. Having had the most points scored against this season, if I don't do this trade I don't know if flexing Forte/Crabtree all season would be enough to seal the first round bye. Which was crucial because otherwise I would have been paired against the high points in week 14 in the first round of playoffs.I think this trade gave me the edge I needed all season.

Last preseason, I took over an abandoned team and had the "Im the new guy" offers flying in. The owner of Trich/Charles wasn't sold on Richardson's rookie hype and was worried about his knee surgery/possibility of missing games, and thought Hillis was going to kill Charles' value, so he proposed his Charles/Richardson for my Chris Johnson/Fred Jackson (he was really high on CJ?K). That would be a massive win for me now, but then he threw in his Brandon Marshall for my Roddy White because he preferred Roddy. That's alright, but then he said to negate some of the risk of trading Richardson away, he asked if I would throw in my Tony Romo in exchange for his Peyton Manning, at the time I didn't want to, but I'm glad he is a win-now type of player and made that the deal breaker. All in all, it was a big blockbuster deal of:I have up: Chris Johnson, Fred Jackson, Roddy White, Tony RomoI received: Trent Richardson, Jamaal Charles, Brandon Marshall, Peyton ManningCould have been even better when he offered to throw in one of Amendola/James Jones/Shonn Greene for Boldin because of the Peyton-Romo risk, but I said no because I thought Steve Smith was going to bounce back in STL and Jones was just WW material at the time. Planned for a two year rebuild, but after picking up Kaepernick/Moreno/DX/Bryce Brown in the preseason and holding, then accepting that offer, the team went from a complete mess to a contender real quick.

Doug Martin.Got him at 1.12 in a dev draft before his senior season.Got him in the 6th round of my redraft league.Got him with the 64th pick of a dynasty startup last February.Incidentally, made the playoffs in all three of those leagues and won one of them.

With $1,000 FA blind bidding available:$6 Colin Kaepernick$2 Bryce BrownETA-both of these pickups were made the same day. On the Friday before McCoy got concussed the and the Friday before CK got his first start against the Bears.

Picked up Bryce Brown, dropped Bryce Brown, then a week or two late splurged like 200 bidding dollars to get Bryce Brown again. I pulled fred jackson out of the lineup last minute and put in Brown. Fjax scored like 9, Brown scored like 35. Without that move, we make the playoffs but get bounced round 1 and win nothing. WITH the move, he carries us for a couple weeks with a couple huge wins, we get a 1st round bye and end up in 2nd place which was a couple thousand bucks.

Traded Best and K.Smith in May for 2012 pick 1.06. That pick became Andrew Luck.Traded Gates and a 2013 1st (became 1.11) for Cobb, C.Shorts, and Jared Cook. This was midseason.

Gave DeMarco Murray & Felix JonesGot RG3, Sidney Rice and Michael Kendricks (IDP)..this was much better until the ACL injury. Already had Charles, Trent and Spiller at RB.Gave Tom BradyGot Percy Harvin and Andy Dalton (already had Stafford)

MOX HP LeagueHe gave up Jackson, Fred BUF RB;Smith, Steve CAR WR;Shockey, Jeremy CAR TE; Year 2012 Round 2 Draft Pick I gave up Smith, Kevin DET RB;Cooley, Chris WAS TE2011 trade but I still smile.

Got Morris off waivers.Traded Tebow, Tim NYJ QB; Edwards, Braylon NYJ WR; Gronkowski, Rob NEP TE FOR Rodgers, Jacquizz ATL RB; Thomas, Demaryius DEN WR; Finley, Jermichael GBP TE; Year 2013 Round 2 Draft Pick from Flying Ninja Monkeys.Oh and got Ingram, Mark NOS RB; Olsen, Greg CAR TE gave up Hunter, Kendall SFO RB;Bennett, Martellus NYG TE

So it's week 4, and Robert Griffin has just been demolishing the league. My other QB is Brees, though, which makes him expendable if I can get the right price. I trade Griffin and a 2013 pick (wound up 1.09) for Stafford and three 2014 firsts. I don't love Stafford, but it's like changing a $20 for four $5s- it makes me much more liquid. But that's not the end of it. I turn around a week or two later and trade Stafford, Lance Moore, and DeAngelo Williams for Demaryius, an injured Kenny Britt, and a struggling Josh Freeman. But that's not the end of it. It's now just after week 9. One of the top teams in the league has three top-10 RBs but major holes all over his roster and is short on future picks, so I approach him and ask about shoring up some of his weaknesses for one of those RBs. It turns out he has an interest in Freeman, who has been scorching over the past month, as well as a first rounder I own from the worst team in the league. I package those two together with Jonathan Dwyer and offer them for Ridley, but he thinks I'm up to something, so he counters and instead offers the old man of the trio: Adrian Peterson. Final tally:I give Robert Griffin, Lance Moore, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Dwyer, pick 1.03 in 2013, pick 1.09 in 2013, and a 2014 second rounderI get Demaryius Thomas, Adrian Peterson, Kenny Britt, three 2014 first rounders, and a shiny new trophy on the mantle. Like all great moves, it was equal parts quality foresight and blind luck.

Before the season: 10 Team PPRGave: Greg Jennings and a 2013 First Round Rookie Pick (ended up being 1.9)Got: AJ GreenIn another trade (we will see if it pans out)Gave: Michael Bush and Javid BestGot: H. Nicks

Not mine, but a team in one of my leagues got Reggie Wayne from a rebuilding team last summer for a 13 3rd round rookie pick. Unfortunately, it didn't help as that team did not sniff the playoffs and Reggie Wayne could be trade bait again this offseason.

I got 2gave up Pead, Isaiah STL RBgot Spiller, C.J. BUF RBSun May 27 3:26:29 p.m. ET 2012gave up Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.09;Year 2012 Draft Pick 4.10got Kaepernick, Colin SFO QB; Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.11

Gave up - Peyton HillisReceived - Randall Cobb + rookie 2.07Don't remember the exact time of the trade, but it was before Hillis signed with KC. At the time, he was expected to get a chance to start somewhere.
