Yo Tick,Why Vasher so low? I had him in a dynasty last year and the guy is a scoring stud. I'm looking to pick him up cheap in a new dynasty this year. Didn't he have like 8 INT's with a few TD's in there? Just curious as to your reasoning why he would be so low. Plus he's young.

Do you really expect him to put up those #'s especially the TD's again?

This aren't Tick's rankings. These rankings were voted on by the forum (consensus). Tick just facilitated (by the way, thank you, Tick). Not enough people voted for Vasher to be any higher.

Sure. In 2004 (his rookie season) he had 5 picks and a TD with 20+ tackles (I'm sure in a somewhat limited role). 2005 he had 8 picks with a TD and 40+ tackles. This doesn't include his punt return #'s. 5 picks as a rook is awesome. Seems to be a ball hawk to me. Sure, he could inprove on the tackles a little but he is on an island out there. Plus he made it to the pro-bowl. With that defense Chicago has I don't see any reason for him not to be in the top 10!

His tackle numbers will likely decrease, not increase. As he improves his cover skills, he'll be thrown at less and less, resulting in fewer tackles and fewer ints. As they get better in real life, CB's get worse for fantasy.

I guess my point is it appears to be a lose-lose situation when throwing against the bears. Didn't Charles Tillman...the other CB have a bunch of INT's as well? As well as Mike Brown the safety. So, if you were a QB, do you throw at Tillman...the seasoned vet, or the up and coming stud? You can't win and I just don't see his numbers decreasing that much. I guess I'm in the minority then.

Should it worry my opponents that all 5 of my DB's are in the top 25 in this list? (in bold) :boxing: At least I won't have to worry about this position in this years draft.

8. Madieu Williams

 it likely means you're weak at other positions ;) CB is one position I never worry about, but Dunta is a stud.

almost a guarantee that there will be 2 players that are top 15 from the WW and probably 4-5 in the top 30 if not more

Was DEN CB Darrent Williams ever brought up in this discussion?

As a rookie he was 7th in ppg using Z scoring.

Playing opposite Champ Bailey ensures balls will be thrown his way, and handling the return duties only increases his value.

I see him as a McGee clone.

and he is a perfect example of what you can find on the WW every year too

If this is the consensus thinking on him, then he will be a huge value pick in dynasty leagues this year.

The problem is that he has a lot of competition for the cb2 spot on that team, they have 3 young guys competing for that spot.

Troy Polamalu is the hot item right now, but I don't see him on top. Unless he breaks through with a 10 pick/sack type season, Pitt's offense usually moderates their IDP numbers a bit. On the field, there's no doubt, but in fantasy he gets knocked down some.

What about Chris Crocker?

He's the starting SS for Cleveland and, with Romeo Crennel, I would think he'd be a top 33 DB for sure.

I'd move up Vasher and pencil in Milloy ahead of Davis (SLB) & Schweigert etc. Also don't think Polamalu will finish #1, I'd put the Wilsons at 1 & 2

And definitely move Barber into the top 5, he has several good years left
