Dynasty - Dwayne Allen vs. Fleener (1 Viewer)

I think I still prefer Fleener for dynasty. Allen seems better NFL TE than fantasy TE IMO.
I like them both, not quite Gronk/Hernandez but both can be top 20 types. Allen is just the more complete player, no reason to ever take him off the field (aside from rest).

I like them both as well, but Fleener has elite talent like Hernandez/Graham. Allen is a very good all-around TE and could put up decent numbers as well, but it's Fleener who I expect to put up top 5 numbers soon. He's a great dynasty buy low right now.

Think most would say Allen has the higher floor and fleener the higher ceiling. That said, given the measurables, fleener should be the more dominant player but in watching each Allen just looks better. Better hands, better route running, obviously a better blocker but surprisingly even better getting downfield. So I don't know.

I really wouldn't mind having them both, but am making it a priority to acquire Allen where I can. I'd take Fleener as an upside cuff to Allen. Wouldn't go out of my way to acquire.

I think Allen's just scratching the surface on being an annual Top 10 TE. And with Luck back there, could have a some Top 5 years.

1.5 years younger than Fleener and much more polished already IMO.

Allen is going to be on near the top of the Tier 2 tight ends in years to come. Probably not 2013 though. Think of Witten.

I agree with this. Allen seems to catch the ball better. Fleener's dropsies were on display in the playoff game. Plus it seems that Fleener is a little injury prone. Allen reminds me a little of Antonio Gates.
