Dynasty - late season pickups for next year (1 Viewer)

Every year you have players that are on the waiver wire that need to be scooped up. Maybe low round draft picks that are making good impressions but havent played. Or maybe players coming off injuries in 2005 that havent done much in 2006 but will be ready for 2007. Then you have the Ricky Williams of the world. Onterrio Smith and his whizinator! Who should dynasty teams target now? This is great for those teams out of the dyantasy playoffs or any dynasty teams that would like to take a chance. Here are some names:

Alvin Pearman

Ricky Williams

Bruce Gradkowski

Tony Schleffler

Kyle Boller

Brandon Jones

Tavaris Jackson

Craig Nall

There are so many possibilities. Any thoughts?

I cut T. Williamson and picked up D. Hackett yesterday.

I'm also thinking about picking up R. Williams and dropping J. Fargas.

I picked up Ricky Williams a couple of weeks ago  .

Picked up Cason today since KJ is going to be out.

Daniel Graham (Should be starting for a new team, and hopefully one that doesn't employ TE by committee like NE).

reading some updates on ricky and he looks like a steal if he is out there.
I picked him up a couple weeks ago. What have you read?
from cbssportsline Latest News The Miami Herald reports that Ricky Williams' agent, Leigh Steinberg, said that his client is contractually obligated to return to the Dolphins after the 2006 season and cannot return to the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. "He's had a wonderful experience, and it really is a good organization," Steinberg said, "but his respect for coach Saban is extremely strong." (Updated 11/08/2006). FANTASY ANALYSIS Williams can't play in the NFL until 2007, so only keeper league owners should concern themselves with his moves for now.

Meh. I thought maybe there was something new going on.

I have him and was thinking of dropping him for Plummer since he will be houston's qb next year. Does anyone think that he has a long term job in tampa. He has alot of weapons but not sure if he is able to use them.Just Wondering

By the way I would pick up guys like:

B. Smith (McCarreins might not be around and Coles might be a Cap Casualty if Chad loses job. Plus the guy is too explosive to not play)

Sproiles (I think San diego cashes in on Turner in the offseason)

M. Bradley (how long can Moose play I mean really)

J. Morant (should be #3 in oakland next year with new Qb to work with)

E. Shelton (just because hes a rb and should be available)

S. Lefors (I think Delhomme is done if they dont draft a qb he should definitely be looked at)

D. Anderson (Does C. frye really have it locked up?)

B. Croyle (Shouldbe ready to start next year... I think trent hangs it up after this year)

D. Hester (I think he gets converted to Wr next year doesn't seem like much of a cover guy IMO)

Jets DEF (Justin Miller is awesome and seems to almost break a kickoff time he gets it)

J. Mathis (houston is desprate for playmakers and if he didn't get hurt in the offseason i think he gets his own package of plays)

Thats about all i can think of off the top of my head.

Enjoy Now you can laugh at all of them if you'd like.
