Dynasty League Info (1 Viewer)

I am joining my very 1st dynasty league this year and was looking on tips and advice. I did a search on dynasty in the FBG article section and did not come up with anything. Also the the dynasty cheat sheet I found on FBG; how current is that and do they consistently update that?

Thanks,

Mike

Well just search through these forums and you'll get a good feel for dynasty. I would reccomend you look through the most recent page of the offseason dynasty trades thread to get an idea as of where some of us value players in dynasty, since it's very different than redraft. Also go to the assistant coach threads that are about dynasty for the same reason. Remember to get a good mix of young players and veterans. The goal is to get a win now team, with an eye toward the future. I also recommend getting WRs since they last longer than running backs. In ppr leagues I like Calvin Johnson as the 3rd player for dynasty behind Peterson and Charles. I would also put Fitzgerald up there just behind Chris Johnson and Ray Rice. Take advantage of free falling older players. If you can get Ochocinco late after young guys like Jacoby Ford than jump on it. League scoring and your draft slot would also help. Good luck

need to have a solid balance of vets and young prospects...depending on roster size, look for guys you think can be good or will be starting in 2-3 years and hold onto them...draft picks are valuable but dont over value them, in the end they are just potential and nothing guaranteed...that being said there is pretty much always someone who does over value them, and you should take advantage of this. I would recommend looking at the dynasty trade thread just to get a feel of whats going on in others leagues. Just follow your gut on players (who will breakout and how to get them without overpaying, who is fading and trading them before they do) it wont always be right, but if you do your homework and know your stuff more times then not you will do just fine. Sometimes the best trade is the trade that never happened. Cant tell you how many times ive worked on a deal only for it to fall thru and in the end it being for the best, Unless its for a stud or someone you really have faith in you should never over pay.
