Dynasty QBs (1 Viewer)

Derek Anderson Cle: Good option if they dont take a QB, he looked better overall then Frye

K. Clemens: Noodle arm cant hold off this guy forever he looked good in the time Ive seen him.

Quinn Gray: The second best QB in Jax, and Leftwich is a walking injury

D. Carr: Seems like Carolina is close to pulling the plug on Delhomme

The only QB here that might be a dynasty sleeper is Clemens, but I would not hold my breath on Pennington losing his job anytime soon.... a playoff QB who had no running game to support him is not likely to get benched anytime soon. Gray? Carr? Are you serious?

Actually I think Gray performed admirably in his appearance last year. At least well enough to be taken seriously for consideration for "dirt cheap dynasty QB prospects".

Not this year, but he's not getting any younger (31). If Pennington has another good year he'll probably keep his job, but it won't take much for the Jets to decide to move on with Clemens.

Just added Clemens to one of my dynasty teams via trade. I have Pennington however and I don't expect Clemens to be starting in the next 2 years unless Pennington gets injured. Pennington has a habit of getting injured is seems though.

I own Pennington in one of my leagues, and the guy cant seem to throw the ball further then 20 yards, Clemens looked good when I saw him, and I got Clemens on the cheap, and I hope they pull the plug on Pennington as the guy shouldnt be a starter.

All the better that I landed him then.

Penningtons arm strength looked ok in the beginning but then seemed to digress as the season went on, I like Clemens and should be a solid #2 QB once they unload Pennington

Guy I picked up for a 5th round rookie draft pick is Brooks Bollinger. I know, not the most tantalizing talent in the world, but I have Tarvaris Jackson on my roster so I figured he would be a good handcuff/roster filler since I could get him so cheaply. I figure I most likely won't draft anyone in the rookie draft at 5.11 that will be much good anyway. Of course if the Viking select Brady Quinn this all goes down the tubes, but I really don't see that happening.

Has Quinn Gray re-signed with the Jags? I think he said early in the offseason when Leftwich was named starter that he didn't want to return to Jacksonville.

McCown and Lemon ... one or both of Kitna and TGreen (assuming trade goes through) won't make it through the season. If McCown is dealt then insert Orlovsky.

Carr could get more playing time than many think - Jake Delhomme isn't the most accurate QB by a longshot, and Carr actually is pretty accurate when he has time to throw.I wouldn't be surprised to see Carr get some meaningful snaps this year.

Does Orlovsky meet the dirt cheap and sleeper criteria? He's worth a spot in a deeper league.
I was so expecting another name from you......... :goodposting:
If through some act of God Nall ever amounts to anything in the NFL, I am so coming to your house to do a little happy dance on your front lawn until your neighbors call the police. :hey: And yes I worked on the grammer of that sentence until I could get God next to Nall.

He was tender at 1.3 M with a 2nd round pick as compensation. I think the dealine for RFA to sign is April 20th. It will be interesting if he doesn't sign. He won't be able to practice or play with the team until he signs. As for my favorite dirt cheap QB, it is Ryan Fitzpatrick. I just need Martz to convince Millen to trade for him. :banned:

All right, all right.

You guys want a dark horse / deep sleeper for Dynasty QB?

There's a QB in NFL Europa right now that was picked up last year after the draft as an UDFA. He's 3rd on the depth chart, but you won't find that right now.

He's preceded by an aging QB with about 2 yrs left in the tank and the #2 QB who is a free agent at the end of the year.

Drew Olson, Baltimore / UCLA / Amsterdam Admirals

wasted pickbollinger will be assist. QB coach at UW in a year or two

Alex Smith & Campbell are the best values right now...

Also; Look out for Big Ben... Teams are jumping on those 2nd yr QBs over him...

Been keeping an eye on M. Cassell (NE-QB) as I believe he'll be a UFA after this season...2008's Schaub?

Been stuck behind Brady in New England and Leinert/Palmer at USC before that...would like to see him get a shot.

Yeah, it's not as if he has a ton of options other than signing the tender.

Campbell for the 1.08 is a good deal, there s a mximum only Johnson, Peterson, Lynch are surefire starters in 2007 like campbell. The 2 Qbs may have to sit for at least a while

I think Brodie Croyle is a great sleeper and someone who's value is low. Rumor is... Kansas City loves this guy and wants him to handle the starter job in a few years. If Trent Green gets traded. (which looks for sure) Damon Huard is all that stands in the way.

Per KFFL:
Jaguars | Gray signsFri, 20 Apr 2007 15:22:22 -0700The Associated Press reports restricted free-agent QB Quinn Gray has signed his one-year tender offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Do you really think this or are you being influenced by that Derek Anderson bobblehead sitting on your desk?

All depends on his cutdown day, but I fully expect Tarvaris to be the starter Week 1.

Anderson did to pretty well last year, but neither QB is irreplaceable.Cleveland is likely to take a QB at some point next weekend.
