Dynasty Rookie Draft 1.02 Dilemma (3 Viewers)

I have QB Herbert and WR McConkey on my team and my RB's are very weak.

I'm sure that Jeanty will go at 1.01 and as long as anyone but the Chargers took Hampton I was excited to draft him at 1.02. Of course Hampton is now a Charger, what do I do? I don't want my starting QB, RB and WR all from one NFL offense.

Options:
1. Draft Hampton anyway, start 3 Chargers in my lineup?
2. Draft T. Henderson instead......assuming that he doesn't end up a Charger too?
3. Attempt to trade down? - I still want a top ranked rookie RB though, so I don't want to trade back far
4. Draft Hampton and then trade one of the trio?
5 ??

In 1998 I was starting Cunningham, Robert Smith, Randy Moss and Chris Carter went 13-1 and won the ship.

Don't matter how many players are starting from the same team if they are all good.
True. I guess that there's a chance that I end up starting Maye over Herbert at some point too.

Will you have a dilemma if one of the other RBs goes to Dallas at 44 or Denver at 51. Hampton could drop to the 3 pretty easily. A few more bullets to go and hope you hit

I would say 1. Or 2 if Henderson (or Judkins) ends up in a perfect spot. Draft the RB that you rank highest after all the landing spots are sorted out.
I have zero problem starting a QB, WR, and RB from a team. Did that plenty of times with Hurts/Brown/Swift in 2023.

Dude, just take Quinshon Judkins.

1 and it's not even close. I NEVER understand why people are concerned about rostering players on the same team. If he's the guy at 1.02, and he clearly is, then nothing else should even cross your mind.

option 5 - trade Herbert

This year will mark Harbaugh's 22nd straight year as a head coach. He is obviously a talented HC, but his QB's aren't putting up great fantasy numbers. Can you name a single QB he's had who finished top 12 in fantasy PPG in the pros or college?

Thanks all, I've just got to go with the BPA, which looks like Hampton. I liked Tre Harris as my early round 2 WR, but not anymore.

Yeah a few years back I was running out Rodgers, Adams and A Jones and it worked out beautifully.

Not drafting Hampton isn't the answer. In this offense I'd rank them Hampton, McConkey, Herbert. So if you really feel like you can't start 3 from the same team, look for a QB swap/replacement, not a #2 pick/Hampton replacement. But I'd be fine starting all 3.
