It's close between Cooley and Gonzo. However, Gonzo's age is a concern. I think that Cooley will still be Campbell's sccurity blanket next year.

I voted for Cooley, though I think it's close with Watson. Cooley seems to be in a slightly better system and is looked to more than Watson (Brady just looks for the open man). Gonzo drops a little more due to age (only a year or two left IMO).

Choosing Ben Watson over Gonzalez is ridiculous. 2006 represents the absolute top for Watson's career; New England will go out and get better WRs in the off-season. He's managed to become the #6 TE given an absolutely perfect situation; he will not be higher than that in the future. Gonzalez? He's only 30, and could easily be the #1 or #2 TE for at least three or four more years.

Gonzo. First, I think many are dinging him too hard for his age. He is in great shape. Did you see him pull away the pass from a DB for a TD? Notice how fast he came back from the shoulder injury?

Second, for dynasy rankings, I think you have to give 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I think Tony is bound to out produce all others on the list in 2007 and should remain solid in 2008. I start worrying in 2009, but that's a long time from now.

I am thrilled to have landed Gonzo for cheap in my salary-cap dynasty league this year and to have him locked up for the next two seasons.

I like Watson next because of his age.

I like this formula. I think this way of thinking has a lot of merit.

Gonzo ... LJ Smith lost my respect with yesterday's game as much as one game can affect a dynasty ranking. Good points on Watson vs Tony G swung my vote.
