Dynasty Value (1 Viewer)

Both these guys came onto the scene in a big way this weekend, and both seem to be headed in the direction of being their respective teams number one receiver. They are both very talented receivers who appear capable of producing as a #1, but have different styles of play. One being a speedy deep threat and the other being a big power receiver. One is on a team who's offense, at the moment, leaves alot to be desired and the other is on an offense that focuses heavily on the run. Which of these two guys do you believe will have the more successful career in the next couple years? IMO I would have to go with Bowe, I think he is the more versatile of the two receivers, and I'm still not convinced Holmes can elevate his game to make him more then just a deep threat. I would like to hear the opinion of the board on these two guys in comparison because there has been alot of hype here for both

Well, Bowe is a better WR overall, but Holmes isn't just a deep threat. He's got awesome hands and does actually go over the middle as well. That said, Bowe just looks like a beast of a man out there and in the end he'll probably do better, but for this year it is Holmes, no doubt.

I agree, I think of Bowe as a TO type and Holmes as a Torry Holt player.

 good comparisons. I think Holmes is a top 15 WR next season, Hines Ward is definitely on the fritz.

So pretty much we're splitting hairs here. I'll take SanAntonio bc he's got the better QB and an OLine that's going to give him more time. Also, he's got Ward and Miller to take some coverage off of him.Bowe's got Gonzo, but he's also on a team that will likely be passing late and often, so thats in his favor.I think you've got gold in either of them dynasty wise, and I think them and guys like Braylon Edwards and Jerricho Cotchery will be Top 15-20 NFL and FF wr picks for years to come in redrafts.

Holmes due to superior supporting cast and better QB, but it is very close.

I'd love to see someone's dynaasty WR rankings. How high are Bowe and Holmes ranking?

I think Holmes is more a Harrison type.

Holmes is the number one receiver in tier 3, one spot ahead of Bowe, in FL's dynasty rankings.

Not sure if posting exerts from dynasty rankings is against the rules or not, but Bloom posted his updated rankings today and he has Bowe at 25 and Holmes at 26

Where are these posted? I am a subscriber. The most recent updates I see from Bloom are on 9/28 in the forecast section. I would love to check out the new ones.
