Earth View from Google Earth (1 Viewer)

I don't know about you guys but I can spend hours exploring on Google Maps/Google Earth. This isn't anything unique to me or anything new, but I have a plugin for Chrome that display a Google Maps image any time I open a new tab. When you click in the globe on the bottom right it opens the map to that location.

One of my favorite things to look at are foreign military bases and also agriculture areas.

This location is particularly fascinating to me:

I played a game like that on google hangouts until people learned how to cheat. Looks like you can't do it in this one.

I play around on Google Satellite a lot when I'm bored.

I'm honestly amazed at the tiny random places where people live. The most random tiny islands have small towns on them. What the heck do some of these people do? Really makes me feel for the vastness of the planet.

gets easy if you move around a little and just use street signs. but just guessing from the original spot? not easy.

It's takes some effort, but I like to zoom into the 500 foot scale view into some random location and then start moving along in increments of a few hundred feet, and see how long it takes me to figure out where I am. I try to avoid reading the town names because those are hints I don't want.
