It seems like its anyone's game as to who becomes the go to WR for Rivers. And since it appears they will be behind and passing a lot, maybe Royal has earned some trust after his game one performance.

I took a flyer on him in FA as a stash.

Anyone closer to the Chargers with any input here?

WR situation is pretty murky in SD. What happened to Keenan Allen? I thought he would get some looks.

Picked him up in waivers due to extreme need more than anything. Despite that need, I am still not starting him this week but I do think this is the type of player that you have to pick up now and then give a week to see if this is a trend or mirage in 2013. If he has a decent statline again this week, you basically have at worst a flex play with upside or some trade sweetener.

That was a bad drop but it does look like he's getting open a lot. I was impressive by him on the goal line and he could have had a 3rd TD had Rivers thrown it well.

I'm reluctant but I'd have to say you can't ignore it.....obviously there'll be regression and inconsistency, but you can't argue with what he's doing so far.

5 yds in 2 games lol. Insane. All if the sudden rivers lies to target him. Meanwhile, Vincent brown is totally Mia.

No clue if this is real or mirage. My best guess is that royals involvement is real but that people will chase the last 2 weeks which will prove to be his best of the season.

I'm desperate enough in one league at WR3 to use him. TD rate totally unsustainable but they look like they are getting creative in getting ways to get him the ball
