Total BS . Edge is so finished it s not even funney .As a Ronnie Brown owner, I would rather have Edge.I would even rather have Caddy.I hate Ronnie Brown, got flustered into picking him and he has looked nothing short of awful this preseason...not to mention Cameron thinks he is a lazy ###.
Edge, and never look back. Better supporting cast, easier schedule, easier division to play in..RB will face NE, Jets, Buffalo twice, each.how hard can it be for Edge against the Rams,Sf,Seattle in 6 games?!If you have a draft early-to-mid position and are looking for a 2nd RB, which would you take in a redraft, non-PPR league?Edgerin James or Ronnie Brown?
I went with Edge in my pick, which I may regret. I just think he's still good enuf to be a #2 back and WRs are all too common. I may end up regretting this, who knows. Steve Smith would have been my other choice. If this is the second round of a PPR league, I'll take my WR1 instead of those two clowns.
i absolutely agree. and if it's PPR, then ronnie brown will be catching WAY more than Edge will.Take Cameron's stupidity out of this and there's no comparison. Edge averaged 3.4 yards a carry last year, over half a yard per carry less than RB. It took Edge 300 carries to barely squeak over 1000 yards. His longest run was 18 yards! He's simply godawful.
i think you'll be pleasantly surprised. think lamont jorden, 2005. ronnie brown is the only true threat on this offense, and they'll be using him a LOT.avoiding injuries said:5th pick in two seperate 12 team drafts. I was left with this decision in both drafts. Went RB both times. Not feeling too good about it...

Ronnie Brown has caught 32 & 33 balls in his two seasons, Edge has five seasons with over 50 and managed 38 in his first year in Arizona.Ronnie Brown probably isn't even the 3rd down RB in Miami but Edge is a legitimate every down player.Edge, without hesitation.i absolutely agree. and if it's PPR, then ronnie brown will be catching WAY more than Edge will.Take Cameron's stupidity out of this and there's no comparison. brown essentially matched edge's receptions playing half the amount of time edge did. you know that cameron's system involves the RB catching plenty of passes.as to the comment on whether other teams defenses will key in on Brown ... they did that with Lamont too. you can't just completely ignore others, even if you pay more attention to a particular player. westbrook has been the eagles only real threat for awhile now and defenses keying on him can't stop his progress. similar situation in miami, ronnie will get his.Ronnie Brown has caught 32 & 33 balls in his two seasons, Edge has five seasons with over 50 and managed 38 in his first year in Arizona.Ronnie Brown probably isn't even the 3rd down RB in Miami but Edge is a legitimate every down player.Edge, without hesitation.i absolutely agree. and if it's PPR, then ronnie brown will be catching WAY more than Edge will.Take Cameron's stupidity out of this and there's no comparison. Man, every post seems to be changing my mind on the situation. As a Brown owner, I should probably stop reading past this post because I feel pretty good right now.Ronnie Brown has been completely misused as a RB. He is averaging only 17 carries per game. As a 230 lb RB, you need more carries. You need 20-30 per game, and you will get a large chunk of your yardage in the 4th quarter when you have LBs who are tired of getting smacked by a powerful RB with speed. He has averaged 4.2 YPC behind one of the worst lines in the NFL, with a horrendous play-calling coach. He had 1300 total yards in 13 games last year behind this disgusting line, with a coach who thought he could turn Joey Harrington into Dan Fouts. Cam has been playing mind games since he got here. That is apparently how he operates. He messed with LJ Shelton and Rex Hadnot's heads right away, demoting them despite the fact that both will be starting. Now he is messing with RB the exact same way. It is comically obvious. Lets see, will we start the guy who ate himself out of football for 2 years, or the 2nd overall pick in the draft 3 years ago, who has been mis-used, mis-coached, deprived of a supporting cast, yet still averaged 4.2 YPC and was a productive RB?Ronnie Brown will start, and will be Cam's featured back. We all know what Cam's last featured back has done. Edge? please. Give me the young promising stud with 2000 less carries on his body.
Well, hopefully not as hard as it was for him last year. Only scored 3 times against those teams in 6 games and didn't break 200 yds combined against any of them in the 2 games he faced them. Edge doesn't have the "edge" he used to have. He's a mediocre #2 RB at best.Edge, and never look back. I like Edge but how many times has he taken himself out of the game after a 15 yard run to the 4 yard line. For some reason he doesn't seem to care if he scores TD's. Really kills a fantasy team.Ronnie Brown has caught 32 & 33 balls in his two seasons, Edge has five seasons with over 50 and managed 38 in his first year in Arizona.Ronnie Brown probably isn't even the 3rd down RB in Miami but Edge is a legitimate every down player.Edge, without hesitation.i absolutely agree. and if it's PPR, then ronnie brown will be catching WAY more than Edge will.Take Cameron's stupidity out of this and there's no comparison. not true. Ronnie is running hard and there is a lot of chat down here.
