#SFB15 - Scott Fish Bowl 15 (1 Viewer)

I don't know what Dave Kluge and his wife do but how much people rave about the Denver live draft sounds so awesome.

They're just generally awesome. The Denver draft turned into a Footballguys event with Dave and his wife and Jeff Blaylock and Sam Wagman.

Finished! Fifth spot...

Ended with : 3QB's, 2RB's, 12WR's, 5'TE's
RB's were going fast and overvalued IMO

Daniels, Mayfield, NIx

Harris, Chubb

Nabers, McLauren, Evans, Coleman, Mooney, W. Robinson, Austin, McMillan, M. Willson, Cooper, E Moore, T. Franklin

Andrews, Njoku, Kinkaid, Okonkwo, Sanders

Good Luck to all FBG's !!!

I've realized I'm in week 8 bye hell. With the position less set up, I honestly hadn't even considered byes for the earlier parts of this draft.

Starters on week 8 bye:

Bowers
Puka
Montgoery
Jakobi
Goff

Bench on week 8 bye:
Geno
Strange

I took Russell Wilson as my 4th QB in round 16, hoping he can hold onto the job for at least the 1st 8 weeks to cover the bye. I've got Tre Harris and Tillman on the bench as non-week 8 byes.

You do realize you can play a RB/WR/TE instead of a QB right ? You don't need to cover a "bye" at QB you just play a RB/WR/TE in that spot

It is 11 starters with max 2 QB's and a min of 0 QB's but no max at other positions.

Yeah. I may have explained my thinking poorly.

I just think a starting QB in the 16th has a higher floor than everyone else available.

Since 2/3 QB’s have a week 8 bye, the SF spot is one of the spots that needs to be covered for that week.

Based on what players did last year in this scoring system you would be correct.

Russ was #85 in PPG overall (23.6 PPG)

Ok I'm in the clubhouse with a ton of rookies.

J Daniels, C Williams, A Richardson
Hampton, Connor, Henderson, Skattebo, Sampson, Hunter, Brooks, Monangai
Chase, Jamo, Deebo, Coleman, Burden, Tillman
Loveland, T Ferguson, T Johnson, Arroyo, Gadsden

How do you feel about it? Any particular reason for so many rookies?

Draft capital of the highlighted:

1st round - #22 overall
2nd - 38
2nd - 39
1st - 10
2nd - 46
2nd - 50

Those are guys that are going to play and maybe dominate touches at their positions and were otherwise good values where I got them IMO. Skattebo and Gadsden belong in that group as well but a bit less draft capital.

Then there are the dart throw RBs:

Sampson - looks much better after Judkins news
Hunter - lots of positive press and Rams hate incumbent RBs
Brooks - I think he carves a significant role in Cincy
Monangai - meh whatever

If I could have drafted 22 starting RBs I would have given this format. Wasn't trying to create a balanced roster per position but looks like I did anyway.

I wonder if anyone can/will top my 15 WR build? :loco: :lmao:
Probably not anyone in here but I see a few 19 WR team builds.

Meanwhile I just made my 18th round pick and am still on 2 WR's.
Saw one of those fantasy life images this morning where a guy took 22 RBs lol. Let me see if I can find it
You can't link directly to that team but go to the tool and find Scott Connor from Urbania Little Giants league. 22 RBs and 0 QB, 0 WR, and 0 TE.

If you go to the "Roster Builds" section of the tool, to "Rosters by Position", you can see the most extreme builds. Sort by a position, and check the "NUM" column to see how many teams have that build. They unfortunately don't tell you which teams they are (and also there is an error where sometimes a team is listed as having 44 players - maybe because it's combining 2 teams with the same owner).

Most QBs: 1 team has 7, 29 teams have 6 (including me!)
Most RBs: 1 team has 22, next most is 20 (and that's a draft-in-progress with 20/20), there's also another draft-in-progress with 18/18
Most WRs: 2 teams have 19, 2 teams have 18
Most TEs: 1 team has 14, 1 team has 13
Fewest QBs: 9 completed drafts have 0
Fewest RBs: 17 completed drafts have 0
Fewest WRs: 7 completed drafts have 0
Fewest TEs: 91 completed drafts have 0
Most common build: 81 teams (2.5% of completed rosters) have 3-7-9-3

I was thinking I might go 0 QBs, I ended up taking one in the middle rounds and Jalen Milroe at the end. Looking forward to seeing how the season shakes out.

Thanks so much for saying that, Bri. As much as I'd love to take credit, this year was 100% my wife. She loves planning events like this and takes a lot of pride in making everyone feel welcomed and included.
