Edwards vrs Cotchery (1 Viewer)

I dont see how cotchery can be ranked so much lower than Braylon Edwards at this point. . . .at least cotch is gettin some games here and there. . .but Braylon hasnt doesnt anything since the first 2 weeks. . . .then looking at the schedule. . .looks to me like Cotch has a decent schedule, where as Edwards looks kinda tough!

I see no reason to have Cotch ranked over 20 slots lower from here on out. My opinion is should be reversed.

My guess is it is based on the fact that Edwards is Clevelands #1 and Cotchery is the Jets #2 and in theory Edwards should get more opprotunities.

Charlie Frye still has an arm. Pennington might as well be punting the ball.
:lmao: Pennington's arm is very weird if you get to watch him. Some throws ya think he's fine maybe even better than previously. Last week, on an INT, WOW was that pass a duck.

Doesn't seem to matter though, does it? Crotch Rot is still outperforming Edwards in Fantasy Football.

Winslow is Clevelands #1

Rankings should be based on performance and opportunity going forward as I see it ... and to date Cotchery 35 Rec/461 Yds/3 TD has far out performed Edwards 24 Rec/378 Yds/1 TD; when looking at opportunity going forward the best measuring stick I find is looking back to existing data unless there has been a major change that may alter the data; the Browns have switched Offensive Coordinators so this may alter Edwards outlook somewhat, but Charlie Frye is still the starting QB and the Browns OLine is still a shambles so I don't see Edwards prospects improving much the rest of the way so I have to believe Cotchery is the far more likely WR to succeed going forward.Looking at the weekly targets there's little to choose from unless you are interested in who can catch the ball that is ... Edwards 44.4% completion ratio with 24 catches vs Cotchery's 66.0% completion ratio with 35 receptions.Braylon Edwards CLE 9 9 8 11 Bye 7 4 54 24 44.4 378 15.8 1Jerricho Cotchery NYJ 7 6 4 4 4 8 10 53 35 66.0 461 13.2 3 :bag:

Winslow is Clevelands #1
For FF, sometimes a TE being the #1 target isn't as important as which guy the D will put their best CB on.

Maybe some Cleveland :homer: can chime in here & correct me if I'm wrong, but thought I'd already seen a couple of Browns games where the opposing D's put their best CB on Winslow.

Oh yeah? I didn't know that. If true, then that's quite interesting

I'm hoping a Cleveland Homer will spot this thread & either confirm or refute.
