Eli decline dismissed by OC (1 Viewer)

New York Giants - Former offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride dismissed talk that QB Eli Manning is on the decline and implied by omission that WR Rueben Randle might not be in the Giants future plans.

Why It Matters - After flirting with fantasy QB1 level numbers in the past, Manning has fallen to the point that he might not even be drafted in some fantasy leagues this summer. Gilbride said Manning will be fine once the Giants solidify the offensive line and "get somebody that’s going to be productive for them as an outside receiver". Since Randle is already on the roster, that is not a great sign of Gilbride's opinion of the third-year receiver. GM Jerry Reese was also lukewarm when he talked about Randle earlier in the offseason. Randle could break out this year, but he should be low on your list of sleeper wideouts until he generates more positive buzz.

What is your take? Are you buying this talk of "quick" fixes ie. OLine improvements

W. T. F. is that post?
My apologies Ive shortened the post a wie bit.

Are you planning to (or hoping too) draft Eli?

Do you have faith in the Coaching staffs ability to improve on most every facet except QB? Oline /Running game /Receiving /Defense

I like your sig's!

Do you follow Eli, in so far as stats? In a 12 team League (that doesn't have an outrageous bn) I cant see why we should consider Eli in a draft.

Heres some stat tables which sorta explain why Eli (if possible) is in decline. (taken from http://www.4for4.com/fantasy-football/2014/preseason/eli-manning-ben-mcadoo-and-new-look-new-york-giants)

ex. Im not exactly sure why the new OC would mention Randle's name, it appears this "issue" has been ongoing..

Personally if I wasnt already planning to use a spot on an additional RB, I believe that I would rather roster whoever starts in Tampa Bay (as my backup) and/or match up based!

p.s. My apologies if formatting makes it to hard to follow. I just would like to make it clear ; Yes, the OC has reason to defend questions regarding Eli
