I have to say that I am happy for the guy. I wonder if this gives him the confidence to move forward and not have the periods of 
play.

Seems like a really good guy. When I have a son I hope he looks up to a guy like Eli who defers any credit given to him to the team that surrounds him.

What I really loved is that after these backhanded compliments on this run of Eli "managing the game"(which I found to be quite a disservice since he engineered 4th quarter winning drives in every game. I'm glad that he had his moment and his magic, from the 3rd and 5 scramble and completion(with a big Tyree assist!) to him throwing the winning TD.
He didn't manage anything today, he went out and WON IT!
