Bought a new SportsArt 805P back in 2005-ish and have used it pretty religiously (5+ days per week) since then. It's treated me well, but it's starting to see the end of its days....a little over a year ago the belt started to fray so paid $200 to have that diagnosed and replaced. Then just this past Tuesday night 20 mins into my workout the belt completely snapped (the one that I just replaced 14 months ago, and before that one the original belt lasted 7+ yrs). For some reason this thing is eating through belts all of the sudden...to fix would be another $200. It's to the point where I'm thinking may be time to invest in a new machine rather than continue to put money into this one.
I did a search on here and the last threads were from 3+ yrs ago, so looking for more recent thoughts, advice, brands, etc.
Because of such regular use (6 days per week x 30-45 mins per day), I'm wanting a gym quality, stable machine. One thing I'm looking forward to is a machine with a smaller footprint than I have now. Willing to spend up to the $1,500 area. Appreciate any thoughts.
Visual of what I have now for reference:
