ENTOURAGE (1 Viewer)

I wasn't too impressed with the episode, but I guess they needed to fill some time... Anyways, should pick up next week. Looks like the director must have wrote Vince in because the studio said he had to, but probably didn't want him in it since he isn't a good actor. At the end of the scenes from next week it looks like Vince was sitting with the director, and he said something about quivering lips. maybe he is giving him the tips he needs to be better.
 The part of the little brother was always there.
Sorry, I meant caste him not wrote in the character.
:wall: Do we know anything about this director? It's clear he favors Patrick over Vince, but do we know why? I don't remember them having a run-in with him before.

I think the reality is that Vince is a bad actor. Dana got him the role, because she owes Ari. The director probably agreed, because he had no choice. It sounds to me like he agreed, but gave Vinces lines to the better actor. Like I said, it looks liek Vince is sitting down with the director in a theater in the scenes from next week. If I had to guess, Vince confronts the director, and he admits he ends up giving him pointers.

Sounds reasonable. I always avoid the coming attractions.

In this episode it concentrated more of how Vinny Chase was getting back into acting and how its rough to go back onto set after bombin in the previous movie. Even said he was nervous before filming in the movie and he always feels confident while acting.

Anyways, there wasn't much to the episode, but I did think Drama had some really funny moments, even leaving his hand mark on Jason Patric's back.

"How about a Power Aid to replenish your electrolytes"

the thing that annoys me is you just know that Ed Norton will never be seen or mentioned the entire time that they are filming smoke jumpers.

And yeah, last night was fairly boring.

Jason Patrick with a good line.

I was offered to do Aquaman 2. I turned it down because sequels and water are not me. :goodposting:

Who was that chick riding Charlie?????????????????????????????????????
Jenaveve Jolie...Dont ask how I know this.
Some of my thoughts... That ##### Charlie was bangin' was super hot.Ari's daughter has really grown up.Vince stinks as an actor. I was hoping it was just the character, but I really think it's Adrien. Beverly D'Angelo has seen better days.Jamie-Lynn Sigler was cute as a teenager, now, not-so-much.Sloan's a very pretty girl, but like someone's already said, it looks like 5 years have passed since she's dated Eric.

Okay. Here's my question for right now.

Is Vince really a bad actor (Ari has mentioned before he didn't think he was a great actor) and the director is really trying to teach him valid skills to help his acting (lip quiver, tilted head)?

Or does the director not like him, know he was forced into the role outside of his say and taking the early opportunity to make him look bad on purpose?

I would think it's the second scenario, that's the obvious one. It could be an interesting twist if Vince develops, the director makes him look great in the role and it rebounds his career. I think the obvious thought is that he's headed for "Benji" roles from this point forward.

No way. They'll make it so that the director "fixes" Vince and he goes on to bigger and better things.

 Not sure if this will be the exact scenario, but your right that the crew always comes out on top. The whole idea of this show is to get the viewer to live vicariously through Vince, and his entourage. If the show was depressing, and bad things happened nobody would watch it. Vince will return to his glory at the end of the season, and Ari will have been right all along in believing in Vince.

If the show is still based on Mark Wahlberg's life, then yes, Vince is a bad actor. In the preview for next week, Dieter says to Vince that he cannot get what he wants from him because he is not capable. This may be one of those reverse psychology previews...or maybe not...

While the episodes are still mildly entertaining this show is losing it's luster fast. Pulling Sloan and Seth Green back in and the chick riding the brother while he is on the phone while entertaining just shows they have nothing more to write story wise. The story lines are lame..........Vince can't act, Eric is a struggling agent, Ari has a friend that is a tool, and throw turtle and drama a bone about nothing every now and then............seems like things are about to jump the shark.

Not to this extent, but I agree with what you are talking about. So much potential and they seem to be missing out on it. And seriously, it's 23 minutes a week. They can do better than this.

was it really ..?? was she credited or just off your viewing .??Cant beleive I missed that or didnt recognize her ... she's a fav.
I did this off my viewing and not looking at the credits...dunno if they even had her name in the credits. I am familiar with some of those girls...

I saw a teaser that said "Only two episodes left", but are they saying that this is the final season? Or is it just two episodes left in this season?

I doubt this is the last season. They would be making a much bigger deal about it, and the actors would probably be on all the late shows.

What was the silliest part of the episode? Ellis shutting down production of the movie or Turtle ditching Jamie-Lynn to fly back with Vince?

so now what, do they actual film scenes of Entourage from Queens or do they somehow get stuck in Vegas from their layover and never make it back to the East Coast?

The show would be best suited sending Vince and E back to Queens and letting Johnny Drama blow up into an A-lister. They could pump out another 5 quality seasons with Drama pulling the cart.

Wow... this show has really fallen off bad the last few episodes.
After not liking the last two seasons as much, with them force feeding tons of Ari, I am actually enjoying this season a lot. I thought last nights Ep was great and it was nice to get a break from Dramas drama. :)

Dont know what you guys are talking about, but Yesterdays episode was vintage Entourage.

Classic yelling scenes for Ari, real good drama with the movie getting pulled, Turtle getting some unexpected play

Best episode of season so far

I thought the episode when the guy died on the golf course was the best, but I agree I didn't think last nights episode was as bad as everyone is saying.
