So, for the last few years, I've basically followed ESPN guys for fantasy advice until getting a subscription this year to FBG and this forum. What a difference. I never realized how consistently wrong many of the ESPN guys can be...just this season Karabell has come out against Cam Newton repeatedly and now Tebow among many other examples. It's like he disagrees with what virtually any of the guys on this site and many others say from predictions to waiver wire pick ups. Any thoughts on this?

I'm just glad I found this place for healthy fantasy advice instead of waking up in the morning kicking myself for listening to those dudes. One thing good that has come out of his rants--more picks up for me b/c everyone in my league bleeds ESPN fantasy advice (like I did last year). Just thought I'd point that out. Interested in the thoughts of others.

Nobody here, staff included liked Cam either. I stood alone on Cam and attempted to steer people clear of scrubs like Helu, Powell and other 4th/5th round RBS and take Cam and 2nd round WRs but all I got was mocked and ridiculed.

Well, I have Cam everywhere, how is Helu working out for everyone?

Actually I remember Bloom talking him up on the podcasts after his first and second game at the same time Karabell was belittling Cam's accomplishments.

Bloom supported the drafting, WW pickup, trading for...Cam all season long.

Not surprised, Bloom has my respect. A couple posters did agree with me but the overwhelming majority thought I was a loon for taking Cam over garbage like Helu.
