Erin Silva breaks down and ranks every post-draft NFL roster (1 Viewer)

His view and I'm sure others have their own views to counter Erin's but its a compact take i one place where you can see every projected starting line--up (and I'm sure Erin is off on some of those projections), where you can easily see how many new additions their are on both offense and defense.

So its a useful reference if nothing else.

I'm guessing that many won't agree with Erin's projected starting lineups and how he ranks each team.

Most overrated, Wash at 7.Most underrated, Cinci at 17.Thoughts?
I'm picking up what you're laying down. I actually think Baltimore is slightly more overrated (they're opening as 7-point dogs at Denver, while Washington is only a 6-point underdog at Denver in week 8), but Washington is a good choice. I also think the Packers and Colts are a bit overrated, and the Bucs (post-Revis) and Rams both seem pretty underrated to me, too.

Interesting note: Vegas currently has Green Bay's week 3 game at Cincinnati (Silva's #4 at his #17) as a pick 'em.

Thanks Bracie, what I liked is the way you can scan thru and see the rosters quickly based on his projections. I love these kind of write-ups in the off season, thanks for posting in here BS.

Many won't bother to click on a link so I'll post the top-ten teams, complete with full rosters, and the other teams sans rosters with the exception of the Bengals who were mentioned as being under-rated at #17.

Its interesting to see early projections cross tabulated with how teams might be ranked.

Also I'm including Silva's small preamble of what he was trying to do in ranking the teams as he did>>>>

With free agency and the NFL draft behind us, starting lineups around the league are mostly set pending training camp position battles and a handful of third-wave veteran signings. Here is a glance at each team's projected first-string offense and defense, ranked in order of quality.

I'm guessing he didn't watch too many NFC West games last year.
You seem to disagree with those teams being ranked one and two.

San Francicso made the Superbowl and Seatle went deep into the post season. Both of those teams had extremly young quarterbacks who got better and better as the season progressed. Seattle adds Percy Harvin and a slew of pass rushers, San Francisco adds Anquan Boldin and had Aldon Smith but added pass rushers in Tank Carradine and Corey Lemonier on top of moving up in the first round to get safety Eric Ried.

So both of those teams made aggressive trades involving their first round picks to go after talented players. They got extra proven WR talent and boosted their pass rush. It seems impressive to me so I can't fault him on ranking those teams that high.

I'm not sure why you are questioning having those teams at the top.
